Very powerful motor for the size and price. Pretty much equivalent power to a 1/6hp AC pump, but runs quieter with 25% less power needed. Adjustable voltage regulator works great. Instructions are detailed but poorly translated. They tell you to test the dry run protection before even using the pump. I paired this with 280w waterproof LED power supply and a 10a rectifier diode to protect it. Power wires are 18 or 20 gauge and feel a bit too flimsy to move 4 amps at 24v. It’s really should be 14 gauge stranded and included an additional 12”-24”. That’s what took the stars down to 4. Overall this a well assembled pump and the company gives the impression they care about the product. This would pair very well with a 200w solar panel or solar system. Has a lot of applications. Time will tell on the life of this pump.

Flow was excellent and it was wired directly to the solar panels.

Received it well packed and good timing. I had to cut off the plug in as I did not have the mating plug in the boat. It ran great for 3 weeks than died. I did not try to return it because as I said I had to cut the plug on it. I am sure that voided the warantee.
