Squalane Oil

I tried this only because the company sent a little sample of it along with a Vitamin C product I purchased. I'd never heard of squalane oil and was dubious - my skin is ultra-sensitive and even products like Cetaphil can make it itchy and rashy, plus I have combination skin so was hesitant about adding more oil to it. BUT. Tried it for a week, in which time I ran through the sample, and my skin drank up the stuff. My skin looks healthy and glowing, and the oil hasn't caused any reaction or breakouts. It also is perfect for smoothing my frizzy hair, which saves room in my makeup bag when I travel - I don't need to bring moisturizer plus a hair product, this handles both. I just purchased the full-size bottle, and am very, very happy with the results. (Btw I didn't get anything in exchange for this review!)

I love this oil! I use it once a week for the moisture. I used to have a problem where around my nose would get so dry and itchy, and this solved it! I use on my nails and its helped make them strong and healthy. I put just a little on the end of my hair when I'm air dying it, and it makes it look so shiny and feel so silky. I even use on super dry spots on my body and on my legs after I shave.

Unfortunately I had to stop using this on my face when I finally linked it to an ongoing breakout that wouldn’t go away. This was the only change in my daily moisturizing routine. However, I’m still giving it four stars because it does make an excellent cuticle oil! My cuticles are no longer ragged and this stuff absorbs quickly, unlike the heavier oils that are marketed for such a purpose. My nails look and feel stronger too. Honestly, I might repurchase and just continue to use on my nails.

I love squalane oil for my dry, mature skin. It leaves my skin so soft & is a great bang for the buck, since a little goes a long way. Dr. Brenner oil came with a security seal around the cap, clear color, & no noticeable smell. I’m very happy with this brand & have had no breakouts or allergic reactions. This is not my first time using squalane oil, but it is the first time I’ve used this brand.

Haven’t noticed a difference after a month of consistent use.

This stuff is amazing! I’ve tried a lot of skincare, and this has given me the most noticeable and immediate results I’ve ever experienced! My skin concerns are as follows: texture, redness, hydration, oil, aging. This has actually helped with all of it! My makeup is going on much smoother, and for the first time in YEARS I’m going without it (most days!). I’ve only been using it for about a week (a.m. & p.m.) and honestly notice results every time. I put it on before moisturizer, and after toner. A very small amount goes a long way so one ounce will last me several months!

I have very sensitive fair skin. So many products either irritate my skin or make me break out. This oil feels very nice and absorbs quickly. I'm not sure if I would use it immediately before makeup application but about 1 hour before works for me. A little goes a long way and gives you a pretty glow. I have been using it with other Dr. Brenner products (Vitamin C Serum and Honest Hyaluronic Acid). My skin has never looked better and it has only been 1 week.

No smell, a little goes a long way, but more greasy than moisturizing. Use a few times then discontinued. Pass on this if you are looking for the deep moisturizing it promises.
