These are even better than I hoped for! They are great quality--nice sturdy material. They cut very well. And they look beautiful on my desk!

Beautiful, heavy, sharp - and inexpensive. The box they come in make them feel like a precious gift. We bought a second pair after my husband fell in love with the first.

I got these for a Halloween costume. Therefore, did not end up going to party so I was going to return these as I did not think I needed them. However, after I "tested" them by cutting a string off my sleeve I realized how smooth/sharp they were. I think the gold is fun and loved the quality/sharpness so I decided to just keep them. Would recommend!

For 10 bucks theses are pretty great. If you keep the price in mind, you'll be happy. If you want solid brass scissors you're not going to get them for $10.-cuts well-feels good in the hand-smooth action-nice brass colorI think my only critique really is the finish. These look plated and i'm a bit concerned they will flake/peel/rub off over time. You can see in the image where there's already a bit of change in the finish or the beginnings of pitting.In the image, the two pens and the pocket knife are real brass. The letter opener is a bad matte-finish fake brass. The organizer is much shinier and more rosy than brass. Pretty, but worth knowing if you're wanting things to match. And the scissors are a pretty good fake brass finish, if a bit dark and yellow.

I love these scissors. I've had them for about 5 years now and they still work like a gem. I use them for everything.Unfortunately I lost them (I think they might have accidentally got thrown away). So I am repurchasing 5 years later because, for the price- you cannot get better.
