How do I level Aquaphalt after its dry?** A: Thanks for your Aquaphalt purchase. There is not much you can do now. Once Aquaphalt is set up it’s not going anywhere, that’s the beauty of our product. During installation you’ve got plenty of time to work with it, but nothing you can do now. **Q: So if I am filling in a depression, rather than an actual pothole, aquaphalt will "feather" well even though it is mostly gravel?** A: I was filling in depression below garage overhead door. I didn't have a stamper so I used a piece of metal over asphalt and hit with a 2 lb. hammer. Unless you use something to flatten, it doesn't "feather". The side of hammer crushed the gravel nicely for me. Dried quickly **Q: does the tamp come with the purchase?** A: No, the tamp does not come with the purchase. You just get one heavy container of Aquaphalt. **Q: I have a concrete slab that has settled about 1.5 inches to 2.0 inches, it cannot be raised to make level, can this be used over concrete?** A: You can have concrete raised. It's called mud jacking. They drill a small hole in the concrete and pump mud under it until it rises. It it was a little stiff. Seems ok. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by A***R on 17 August 2025* The cracks and holes on my driveway were getting larger these past few years. Heard about cold patches and discovered Aquaphalt 6.0. Purchased 6 pails and tried it out. Fairy easy to use (I used a small shovel to scoop material out from the bucket). I tamped it down and then added water. It’s almost 24 hours later, and everything looks good. I filled in some small cracks and low spots. I also built a small ramp because my car bottoms out where it changes from concrete to asphalt. I still have more cracks to fill in, but I just wanted to test it out. Since I got the 6.0, I may have to widen some of those cracks a little bit. Overall, I think this is a really good product. It was really expensive, but I was able to do what I wanted by myself. I plan to get a couple of buckets of the 4.0 for some of my smaller cracks.
