Works great in 1977 CJ5.
These fit perfectly in my 1977 CJ5. The original ones were missing, so I was happy to find these. The hood fits nice and tight going down the highway now too. There’s one less squeaky noise. 😂 The fit of the rubber bumpers are tight. It helps to push the nipple in at an angle to hook the sheet metal into the groove, then twist it in while pushing it in. They all went in this way, including the two at the ends that go through the double thick sheet metal. You’ll need four of these for the complete job.

Perfect hood stops for my 78 Jeep. The old ones were hard and flat. Now I can shut the hood without worry since the new rubber stops prevent it from slamming so loudly. Easy press-in installation.

Perfect fit!
Perfect fit and easy install for my 1981 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade restoration. Removing the four old mounts and installing the four new ones took less than 5 minutes. Just an FYI, on the flat side of the mount there is a small pencil-lead sized opening. When installing, take a very thin punch or probe and push it down into the opening when installing...it stretches/elongates the cone-shape tip of the mount making it easier to install it. Now if Amazon.com could only help me with my transmission rebuild!

Sadly I can only order 3. Worked for a little project I had with my Jeep YJ. I did have to drill my holes a tad larger but I expected that with fab work on older vehicles.
