It didn't fall under the warranty from car loan, so we were on our own. I was seeing prices of $150+ for such a small part. It was ridiculous, so I was weary when I saw the exact same part for $30 here. I figured it was junk or had some weird parts that would make it unusable, etc. It came pretty quickly and, to my surprise, was VERY well built. We were unsure of how easy it was going to be because it was located on lower on the side of our motor, and there were some hoses and such that needed removed before we could even get to it, plus it appeared that the bolts on our old one were rusted something awful. But, it needed changed. It was causing our Jeep to idle rough, it was causing the engine to run rough AND we were losing gas mileage. It ended up taking all of 10 minutes to change, from start to finish. And it fixed the problem. Check engine light went out, gas mileage got better, engine started runner smoother and it doesn't idle rough now. It amazes me how a 10 minute job, with a $30 part, can make sure a huge difference. Now, if we could just figure out why the tire pressor sensor light won't go out!10/10 would definitely recommend ordering this. Don't waste $150 when this is the exact same part at a fraction of the cost. Ours is a 2008 Jeep Compass Sport, for reference. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING: DO NOT BUY. *by P***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2019* I ordered this part and had it delivered to fix what I thought was an issue with the intake manifold control module in my 2008 dodge avenger which it said this part would fit my car's engine. Replaced the old one which was super easy. After that the car was fine. A few weeks went by and I got a check engine light with the code stating "intake manifold runner valve stuck open" I took it to the dealer to have it diagnosed and they told me they'd have to replace the entire intake manifold for $1,000. I politely declined and took the car back. I decided to replace it with the old one again to see if it would make a difference and sure enough, the code disappeared and hasn't returned since. It turns out this part was faulty all along and now it's too late to return it and get my money back.
