So after hunting down and emailing the manufacturer this was the response I received:We have the below suggestions regarding your situation:1. we do not recommend laptop to support power as laptops do not provide enough power for phone charging. Not a quality item here folks. It does not put out enough power to charge an iPhone 6. I plugged my Kindle into it and it came back with a lower power source message.
