Hammock Rain Fly

Getting ready for trip up to MN Boundary Waters area this summer we normally use tent but decided to try Hammocks this year. Purchased the Hammock, Tarp and Chair from Sunyear and set up for a test run the week-end after I got the gear. I Noticed after initial setup and first nite sleep that the stitching on one of the tarp ties was pulling out, I emailed Sunyear to check on getting a warranty replacement and received an email reply back that same day to give them my address and they would send out a replacement right away. I sent them my address and a couple pictures so they could document and received a shipping confirmation the next day. I received the replacement tarp two days latter and was set to go. I have used the gear for the next three week-ends and I am impressed with the quality and the durability of the Hammock, tarp and chair. All are pretty light weight zippers on Mosquito net are pretty rugged and chair is solid. Yes there is better gear out there but also much more expensive, I have many year of camping experience both family and high adventure with scouts and if your looking for reliable gear for either camping or home use that doesn't cost a fortune then I'd recommend Sunyear. I also recommend Sunyear because of their customer service, they are quick to respond, quick to solve any issued and extremely polite. Occasionally you can receive faulty equipment, stuff happens. But they quickly responded and took care of the issue. The replacement I received was outstanding. I think the best thing I can say is Sunyear has a customer for life here! Thanks Sunyear...

Absolutely love this rain fly . Took it out 2 weeks ago and we ended up having a severe storm come through and stayed nice and dry . It got a little intense at one point as the wind and rain really picked up but the rain fly stayed right where I needed it . Am very happy and pleased with this product . The price and quality of the SunYear is outstanding and I highly recommend the Hammock and rain fly for anyone who whats to try hammock camping for the first time .

This is a nice addition to my hammock. The additional dry space is very useful for my gear. Nice quality for the price.

Got it and it’s the perfect size for the hammock I also got from sun year. Took it camping and got many compliments on the setup. Works well and blocks a ton of light from either side.

It was designed to keep the rain off and it does that. The better part of it was the included lines with which to hang it up. All the hardware, the stakes, the lines and a good tarp say, let's go right now, no need to hunt around for the incidentals. That is just a neat hammock, and the tarp makes all the difference here in my home area-'cause it rains here-no warning, intermittent, often and sometimes heavy. Nice to have a tarp. Thanks.

Just got back from a 3 day milsim operation in Washington it rained 2 days kept us dry. We orderd the biggest size fit 4 guys and gear under the tarp. Easy to set up and take down verry happy and dry.

This hammock was way better than expected. Quality was excellent. Comfort phenomenal (better than my own bed at home actually!) Highly recommend. Rain fly worked fabulous even in heavy rain. Easy to set up and hang / adjust etc. Wouldn’t change anything.
