The Wonder Creature fountain is a great product - not too expensive, simple to use, and WORKS - we've had our for over a year and with about monthly maintenance, I feel like it should last a long time. My approach is run it through the dishwasher and change my filters and sponge every month...I believe they recommend doing that at least 2x as often, but that is too much for me as well as too expensive...and this is working just fine. I'm happy to pay for the brand-name filters, sponges, and replacement motors*...but I don't know why they don't sell a set that includes an equal number of filters and sponges in one box (maybe others don't replace the sponges as often, but mine get gross). NOTE that if you don't want the blue light in your fountain (as I didn't) you can buy a replacement motor that doesn't have it - the number will indicate that it's for a different model, but I bought a square one that fits into the slot in my fountain, and it works fine....best thing I ever did, that light was driving me crazy :-)

Worked fine for cat who was attracted to the sound and movement. Over time though hard to clean the tubing and cat lost interest. Good for use when absent from home for a few days.

Returning buyer (: I love these— great price, comes with a good amount, and compatible with my water fountain! It’s very easy to set up since directions are super direct. Doesn’t affect the water noise level or light on the fountain. Functions just as it should! I have two pets that both drink from this fountain and 1 filter typically lasts me 2-4 weeks depending how often the pets drink/refills. I actually tested the water PH a long time ago to see if these filters even make a difference and they do! The water without the filter is yellow/orange and with the filter it’s blue. Product arrives quickly and lasts me 2-3 months or so! Would recommend.

The water fountain for these is at the store that has a small adoption center that up to 4 cats can reside at and people can see them outside of the animal shelter. The fountain was a donation and some cats love it, some cats don't use it. Currently, 2 of the 3 drink deeply from it, one like he is in the middle of a desert expedition. These filters keep the water clear of dust and hair from not only the cats but other animals that come into the store. There are enough I don't have to buy them very often and they are a good value.
