Much better for a wiring center
Wanting to replace the existing Honeywell ST799 programmer with Nest thermostat and heat link, I took a look at the existing wiring centre which was a mess of wires around a connector block that (sort of) implements a Y plan. It's not hard to see why there were a couple of wiring errors. This centre makes it much easier to see how the wires connect and there are NO screws. Fabulous. I've watched videos on YouTube in which experienced heating technicians complain about this product and maybe that's true if you're an expert or have a multi-zone S plan system to wire. However, if like me, you have a single zone Y plan system and just want to get the job done without calling in an expert and want to make it possible for someone else to be able to understand how it's wired, this is a good option.

Great product
As with all other Wago products I have used this is a great product. Used for lighting not heating as probably its intended use , made connections between solid and stranded conductors easy and quick .

Great Piece of Kit
Designed for maintenance free water heater setups - but can easily be used for sockets and lighting as well. Easy to use, plenty of cable entry options and comes with a great selection of connectors. Only negative that I would make is that you can probably get it cheaper from a electrical trade counter specialist.

Worked perfect to organise mess of existing wires when upgraded to Hive.

Needs to accommodate more WAGO221 blocks to make it more practical/flexible
This is a nice idea and would be great if there were more connectors. The Y plan diagram that comes with the Wiring Centre does not show earth wires for the programmer, room stat, or cylinder stat. To get around this, I twisted together a couple of earth wires in the flex cables, but you shouldn’t have to do that. The idea is a one wire per connection. I also needed a separate connector for the pump overrun.

These Wago junction boxes are great for lighting circuits - neat and secure fitting - however I don’t appreciate being sent a “used” item - the cover had been over tightened and the the threads stripped - it may be the best price on Amazon but not impressed by the seller
