A: Yes, they are made of ice silk materials but no idea about adjustable items you have mentioned. These have enough pouch area and very stringy, like not even there feeling!

A: Same height as you, 34" waist, 158 lbs and they fit fine in Large.  All this Asian underwear you need to order one size up.  If this was an pair of Jockey underwear, I would wear a Medium.  They feel really good on my bits and they don't crawl up my cheeks.  I am ordering another set of them.  They look really good under a couple pairs of skinny jeans.  Accentuates the positive.
