These were great for a project. Some were broken, but that's because they are shells..

I thought there might be an assortment of sizes, they seem on the small side and are all the same. They are MOP so I’m sure there will be projects to use them on:)

Ok, so ummm. I guess they can bury me with some of these buttons. Maybe I'll make myself a button bikini, although there are enough butttons to make a tankini. It will have that nude look, you know, due to the button color.

These pictures are of the first four bags. I did check, and all bags were of similar quality. I DID NOT CIRCLE ALL OF THE DEFECTS, only the most egregious of them. Seriously, maybe 1 in 100 buttons is usable. Many are chipped or broken. Many are of different thicknesses - on the same button. A bunch were not from the mother-of-pearl part of the shell, but rather from the castaway parts. Some had mistake-holes drilled (three holes in a two-hole button, or worse, 2 and a half holes). Some had accidentally-carved sections, like the drill making the blanks had slipped and they'd just tossed it into the rejects bin. That's what these are. They're the sweepings from the teaching-room floor, or the rejects bin. They aren't even the 'that's-reasonable' learning buttons! If you want buttons at a low cost, buy a smaller number from a reliable seller. Don't buy these. I know, it's a very low price, but it will only waste your time and money. Thank goodness for Amazon customer support, because keeping and using these would have been pointless. Sellers like this waste customers' and Amazon's time and money with returns.

I’m pretty thrilled with these. I wanted very small mother of pearl buttons and these are beautiful. Some are very very thin, like cardstock thin, but very few are like this. The color variation is beautiful, and I like that they are a little wavy. People have to keep in mind these are a natural product so variation is expected. Very happy and would purchase again, if I ever made it through all 1000 of them.

I assumed these buttons were seconds by the price. I figured that I would find what I needed within the 1,000 in the order and I did for my project. However, color of the buttons was all over the place from white to almost-black and many were broken and about 10% were unusable. Buy them but make sure you buy more than you need to match color and cull the useless ones.

Zero stars. Broken, warped, extremely thin buttons - these are NOT USABLE. They do not look like the photos shown, some are paper thin, the rest are chipped or in pieces

BROKEN CHIPPED WARPED USELESS BUTTONS CAME IN A PLASTIC BAG WITH NO BUBBLE WRAP AND SO MANY BUTTONS WERE CRACKED OR BROKEN OR WARPED POOR QUALITY GARBAGE
