Nice little stove & holder
I purchased this just for the holder & bag really as I wanted something to put my Trangia stove in that will hold a fry pan over the top. The spirit stove has a good feel quality although I haven't used it. I have had one of the budget stoves before but found after use the lid would not seal. Not sure if it was a one off problem. Also if you have used the metal flame regulator, the handle is hot and quite stiff to move when trying to snuff out the flame. I love the little bag that comes with it....Once cooled I wrap my stove in a ziplock bag just in case there is any leakage and it fits snug in the holder so stops it rattling. For the price this is a good piece of kit

Great stove!
Tidy little stove, I used denatured ethanol from Go Outdoors, good cooking ability without hot spots, perfect. A windshield will be required if breezy. This will boil 500ml in about 10 minutes in a titanium pot with lid in windy conditions. I had my suspicions that the stove is made from brass plated steel however I've checked with a magnet and the material is non magnetic so very likely brass 🙂 with the support frame being a strong grade of aluminium or titanium? colour anodised but also coated. All in all a great little stove, just use bio ethanol rather than alcohol. The last 3 photos were in still conditions. I've since bought another stove and this time the frame has some sharp edges however easily fixed.

Perfect camping companion
I purchased this to take with me to a Camping music festival. It survived all 5 days and will continue to come with me on future ventures. Great compact design, especially when you are limited on what fuel sources you are allowed at venues. Weighs almost nothing and I love the fact it has a lid that allows you to close the fuel container with liquid inside. Very easy to put together and gave me the ability to boils my water for my much needed morning coffee. Boils time was about 9/12 minutes for a small camping kettle. Would recommend!

As good as the more expensive brands
Some people have complained that the struts are too wide to hold the burner. Just apply the slightest bit of pressure inwards to the struts and your problem is solved. Do the opposite afterwards for stowing away. I’ve used this plenty of times and it’s brilliant. No leakage during transit. Easy to set up. Strong and durable and performs as well as the more expensive brands. A bargain.

Beautiful trangia-like alcohol stove
Pros: + long burn times for proper cooking + simmer/snuff out cap with folding handle + lid with sealing ring for fuel storage + nice jets with bigger and smaller holes + versatile pot stand + nice velvet pouch + shiny brass colour + good price Cons: - not the best choice efficient for boiling water - a bit heavier than other alcohol stoves at 142g - die hard Trangia fans always get triggered with this one My thoughts: Really beautiful alcohol stove. It doesn't burn too hot, but therefore the burn times are much longer... so this stove is more suitable for cooking proper meals, rather than boiling water. You can simmer, snuff out and store the fuel inside, so that way no excess fuel is wasted. For me personally the folding handle, the jet design and the overall longer burning times give this stove the edge over the very similar Trangia cooker.

Rather impressed
Rather impressed. It’s a neat little package and if you’re more familiar with gas stoves then this is not a quick to boil water. But it is quiet. I do like the snuff cap to put out the flame.
