Reliable Extended Warranty Plan
Been purchasing asuuion protection plans for years but never had to use it before till today. Purchased a 4 year Office electronic plan for a new wireless router I purchased in November 2023. The router just died. Call Asurion and told them the issue and they issued a return UPS label for them to inspect it. Once they got it in 24 hours they said it can’t be repaired and the refunded to my Amazon account the full cost of the router, less taxes. They were great

Broken Printer
My printer was broke and out of the manufacture warranty, so I contacted Asurion and they sent me a return label and I boxed up the broken printer and mailed it to them for repair. I few days later they said printer not repairable and refunded the cost of the printer to my Amazon account.

It is working just fine I’m glad I purchased the plan, I could be still trying to set up myself. I know I could have called canon for help, but I purchased the Asurion plan so I wanted to make use of it. Thank you David for helping me

Easy to use. Worked as expected
I was really pleased that they sent me a box for the product to be sent to a repair facility to attempt a repair. My item was apparently not repairable but I quickly received an amazon gift card for the policy face value. Would buy coverage on high use product again

Asurion lost a part to my printer and stuck me with a $63 packaging bill
I purchased a $79 4-year protection plan for my Brother L3750 laser printer, a 50-something pound device. It failed after about 1.5 years. I tried to initiate a claim with Asurion, and they denied it twice, telling me to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer said (correctly) that I was out of warranty. I then took that back to Asurion by email with documentation to try to open a claim and they said I couldn't do so by email. I ultimately had to spend a couple of hours trying to get a claim filed, before ultimately giving up on doing it electronically and calling them. When I called for the claim, Asurion elected to repair the printer. They provided a shipping label, but said I had to package it and send it in. I ended up having to pay $63.33 to get the thing safely packaged (it's huge, heavy, and has moving pieces, trays, etc. that would break in a heartbeat). I got the printer back in a couple of weeks and they fixed the electronic problem that I sent it in for. However, they apparently removed and lost a part: turning it on now results in the message, "Install the Waste Toner Box" (see photo). Even the scan feature won't function without it (see second photo). I called to ask Asurion to address the Waste Toner Box issue and also to reimburse the packaging costs. They're taking steps to try to find the box and get it to me (I'll update if not satisfactorily addressed). However, they refused to reimburse the packaging costs. The first rep said "We won't pay for that because we already paid for your shipping label." I called back today to speak with someone else and the phone rep argued (politely) that this very Amazon page doesn't say what it clearly says: "No Additional Cost: You pay nothing for repairs – parts, labor, and shipping included." I asked him to point me to where in the Terms and Conditions it carves out packaging costs from "No Additional Cost" and he argued that because the T&C didn't mention packaging, that meant it wasn't covered. I said I intended to file a notice of intent to arbitrate and escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor said to email them the receipt and their accounting department would decide whether to approve reimbursement. To summarize: * Their online claim filing system doesn't work. * Their "24/7 chat" system never connects you to a live person (I tried 4 or 5 times) * They made me package up and ship back a 50-something pound printer. * They lost a part to that printer rendering it nonfunctional then shipped it back to me. * They refused to cover the packaging costs and honor their advertising of "No Additional Cost". We'll see - maybe they'll make it right after I threatened arbitration. This is horrendous. Given the amount of time and cost involved, I won't be purchasing another Asurion plan. I'd rather just buy a second device if the first one fails. 11/9/24 update: Asurion claims they never removed the Waste Toner Box so it's not missing. Even though the printer they sent back to me says to install one. They also haven't responded about the packaging cost reimbursement despite saying they would do so within 3 business days (which would have been several days ago).

First monitor and the difference between my TV and monitor are crazy good! I love it and feel like it’s worth every penny for the serious gamer or if you’ve just got the money to spend. I can now run 120 frames on my Xbox which I’ve never been able to do and the games run so much smoother now. 10/10 would buy again
