A 90's Classic
One of the best stoner comedies of the 90's, "Friday" manages to be both silly and have a positive message when it comes to it's ending. Craig (Ice Cube,) and Smokey (Chris Tucker) both have nothing to do on Friday but to get high and cause shenanigans. They're day consists of avoiding Teebo, and paying the man within 24 hours. Things get tight for them when they realize that they would do anything to get some money. Definitely NOT a good day to get high. This movie has a great cast including, Nia Long, John Witherspoon ("Don't nobody go to the bathroom for about 35-45 minutes.") Regina King, and the late Bernie Mac. With many laughs and one of the hottest soundtracks of 1995. VHS copy also includes two videos, Dr.Dre's Keep Their Heads Ringin', and Ice Cubes Friday video. Have nothing to do on Friday? Well stick this in, have a smoke, and prepare to be blown away. 1995, 91 minutes, Rated R

Friday ist eine der besten Kultkomödien der 90er. Die Handlung spielt an einem einzigen Freitag in einem Viertel von Los Angeles. Craig wird gefeuert und verbringt den Tag mit seinem Freund Smokey. Eigentlich wollen die beiden nur einen ruhigen Tag verbringen, doch sie geraten von einem Problem ins nächste und müssen sich unter anderem mit einem gefährlichen Drogendealer auseinandersetzen. Der Film lebt von seinen witzigen Dialogen, den verrückten Charakteren und dem authentischen Straßenflair. Trotz der einfachen Handlung wird es nie langweilig, weil ständig etwas Neues passiert. Viele Szenen und Sprüche haben längst Kultstatus erreicht. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
