Annie - Ms. Remi Satin Double Lined Day and Night Cap (Extra Jumbo, Black)

I love this bonnet. It’s huge yet tight around my head and does not slip off while I sleep. Fits my 18” passion twist style with tons of room left over. Only con is it’s TOO tight n uncomfortable on my edges to wear alone...I have to tie a scarf loosely around my edges before putting this bonnet on, which I don’t mind.Easy fix. Maybe I won’t have to wear a scarf once my style loosens up a bit..It’s also double lined so I feel safe to wear in the shower or while bathing my kids to protect my style. I would recommend buying it! I think the price is actually low for such a quality item....

Nice jumbo size cap to fit my long beautiful passion twists hair in. However, the cotton band could be a little loose. I tried it out last night and I Kept tossing and turning in my sleep 😴 💤 🛏and trying to loosen the band. Although I am not the one who usually sleeps in a night cap. But for those who do on a regular basis this would definitely be the #1 absolutely best night cap I would 💯% recommend. I have tried many other brands in the past and I would have to say this is one of the best and quality night cap to fit any long hair of all types from natural to extensions, sew 🧵 ins and wigs. 🥰

Alright so where do I start? I’ll begin by saying, this thing is EXTRA JUMBO for real. I pulled it down over my entire head and it was so big, it wasn’t even touching my face. I was looking for a soft satin jumbo cap that hung loosely in the back (for comfort) but this isn’t satin. It’s more stiff and puffy than soft and satiny. It’s not extra tight on my head but just tight enough for comfort and to stay in place while sleeping. I guess I have an average sized head. I wouldn’t use this on a small child’s head unless they have a lot of hair, as I can see it sliding forward and covering the child’s face (it’s breathable though). I’m wondering if I wash it with fabric softener, if I can loosen up the fabric a little. It feels like it’s been lightly starched. I don’t think the other reviewers photos truly depict how large this thing actually is! When I initially pulled it from its packaging, I thought they’d sent me an article of clothing by mistake. I took photos to compare it to my current satin bonnet. I wanted this because when I wear my hair up top like a pineapple, my other bonnet is too small for that and doesn’t cover my edges at all... but this one is so ridiculously big that I feel silly wearing it. I’m going to though because I ordered it! But I don’t have enough hair for it. My #goals will be to fill this thing up...Lol! My daughter can definitely fill it up so I may end up using it for her hair or ordering one for her. I posted photos to give you an idea of the true size of this thing. Be aware...it’s very large!

I love the roominess, lots of space for my locs. Initially tried to wear it but it was too tight so I put it aside. As stated I love how full the bonnet is, bigger than the others I have on hand, so I picked it up again and decided to cut the elastic over my ears. If it frayed, oh well. To my welcomed surprise it did not. It gives a clean cut and doesn't compromise the fit. It still stays put. I was careful not to cut it all the way to the seam. My head is large so I cut about five slits around the bonnet. Ahh, sweet relief! If I get tired of the feel of the elastic, I flip the elastic band over and pull down the mesh lining so it frames my face and rock the sheik look. Love this cap! They are more than reasonably priced so I just ordered three to have on hand when it's time to toss the one I am wearing now.

I have a ton of wavy (almost curly) BSL Latina hair. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't have any problems with the elastic band. After wearing once, the elastic has relaxed just enough to be comfortable, but still stays in place. I make sure to wear this with the seam in the elastic band at back of my head so I don't feel it on my forehead. This cap is super big, which prevents my hair from getting smashed. It's fairly breathable, which means I can use this even if my hair is wet (not drenched). I wake up with dry or almost dry hair, depending on the weather. My favorite way to use it is on wash day! I wash my hair at night, get my part set, and put in my favorite leave in. Then, I bend at the waist, flip my hair over, scrunch a bit, and gently lower all of my damp hair into this cap-- with my head still upside down. Once all of my hair is in the cap, I flip my head back up, adjust the elastic band, and sleep comfortably. In the morning, I just take the cap off, fluff, add a bit more product, and am done with my hair!

Size as described. Product looks just like it does in the picture. It says JUMBO for a reason. Please hand wash this before using it. I did and it bled a lot in the water. I can imagine it could stain your pillows. This bonnet actually stays put, surprisingly. Previously I had been using a scarf which I had to secure with five bobby pins. As an active sleeper sometimes I’d wake up and the scarf would still be on the floor. This bonnet however stays on through the night. It does slip a little further back, maybe half and inch, as I sleep, but it’s not a problem. I suffer from frequent tension headaches, so I’d know if this was too tight, trust me. It’s not. The band is actually some sort of elastic. It’s grippy, not soft at all. So please don’t put this ON your edges, specially if you have braids causing tension at the same time... that sounds like a recipe for getting snatched. The material is some satin-type on the outside, while the inside is lined with some sort of mesh-y polyester. There is really no purpose for the lining. The after the first few nights I realized my hair was looking dull and lifeless. Of course this type of fabric sucking the moisture and oils out of your hair defeats the purpose of wearing a bonnet. Ended up flipping the cap over to have the satin on the inside. I would give this five stars if it did not have the lining as it currently does. Someone should tell the makers of this bonnet that ideally we want the benefits of the satin coming in contact with our hair... not with our pillow... (I might just cut it out, will update review if I do) Edit: After having this since October, and it's now April 2018, I have some more comments to add to the review. I did end up cutting the lining out, it was very easy. After about four months, the band started to stretch in random places, one side is worn out and the other isn't. As a result the bonnet has started to slip off. It hasn't ended up on the floor yet, but it's not ideal. Also, in hindsight, even though I have very long and very big hair, this may have been a little to large for every day use. My initial idea was for me to wear my hair loose under the bonnet, but the logistics of getting all the hair through the opening was a little too difficult. I have knocked down one star from the review, and I am currently looking for a different bonnet, since this didn't even make it to a year.

Most people don't expect a person like myself to have super thick curly hair. But I do and I can never find anything to fit over my hair, rather things just sit on top of it....this cap, however is amazing!! Its super big and I wear it overnight with a hair serum to help soften and hydrate my locks. There's not much room after I stuff my hair into it, but enough to stay on overnight. Too tight first few times, but it stretched a bit and its perfect! I would recommend this to any thick haired girl!

This thing really is JUMBO sized! However, the band can feel a little tight around the head. You can easily fix this by removing the cap and pulling the band in opposite directions with your hands to loosen. Once you have it placed comfortably on your head, you will see that there is MORE than enough space for all your hair. Highly recommend for those with thick hair, very long hair, those with wigs or weaves. All your hair will fit in this cap.

I bought this product at least four years ago and I still love it. It’s a great purchase very spacious for protective styles 10 / 10.

This is amazing. I use it for my braids. Holds my hair in place. Love it! Value for money.

The elastic is toooo tight. Like I actually kept it hooked for 3-5 days to give it a bit of a stretch. Even then it is still but I can't wear it more than 4 hours max without marks / headache. That being said with my big hair the length of this bonnet works really nice to preserve my curls.

I love this bonnet i get so much compliments the only this Is that The elastic band it too tight but other than that❤️ Love it.
