Old boot was cheap and shredded.
New boot does not look linke the one shown but is made of heavy rubber and should last for many years. Easy to install - good product!

This is the second one of these I purchased. If it says Omix-Ada, don't buy it.
I'm finding out the hard way who not to buy vintage Jeep parts from. Omix-Ada is more often overpriced, poor quality or questionable quality parts. If I have any other option I will purchase that. Made in India these parts look ok. 2 of these I have purchased and 2vof them ripped. The company this came from contacted me to rate the item, I told them it ripped and they made no offer to make it right. I had been advised to avoid their parts several times and could find nothing else. Going forward I will simply source my parts from salvage or make what I need.

Transfer case shifer boot
Quite different from the one shown in photo. At least it's heavy duty and should work just fine. The last one I ordered (form different company) was cheap, thin and lasted 2 days.

Buy a couple!
This part fits well, but doesn't last very long. They are cheap enough from Amazon, so buy a couple. They are over $10 at most of the Jeep sites, so Amazon has the best price!

Rare rubber boot for a T-18 transfer case.
This is used to keep dust, and moisture from entering the cab floor.

You get what you pay for.
Cheap cheap cheap you get what you pay for. It literally came apart after I installed it it ripped in half and where the shifting knobs come through tour just poor quality. What do you expect for a couple bucks?

Thicker then the other one offered
I like the thickness compared to the other one offered. Only had it about a week so can't comment on how it will hold up. the last one was very thin and didn't last a year, that's on an old military jeep that is used for show, and transfer case is never used, so no shifting.

Do not buy
This item has been on the Jeep for three months and is already splitting. The Jeep is only used 1 to 2 times a week for 3 hours and is kept in doors when not in use. The item still cracked.
