I have very fair skin, on the verge of pure white. Almost all liquid foundations are a bit too dark for me, and leave an uneven 'shadowey' appearance between my face and neck. I do not apply foundation to my entire face- rather just my 'problem areas'- so I needed something that truely matched my skin tone. I had tried many many make-ups throughout my high school years. Most did not match my skin, or made me break out terribly. But that all changed when I found L'Oreal True Match Porcelain foundation. This liquid foundation comes in a small glass bottle. One bottle usually lasts me about 3 to 4 months- using it almost every day. The cap screws on, which I like (other caps snap on or open and can be squeezed out). This one works well for me. I put my finger over the opening, tip it upside down quickly, and then have just enough foundation on my finger to cover my entire face. To apply this foundation I use a brush (yep- a brush for liquid foundation). I've found it gives me more of an airbrushed appearance and the light bristles help blend this make-up flawlessly. The make-up is thick enough to easily cover my blemishes, but thin enough to not feel cakey or heavy on my face. It stays nicely applied throughout the entire day. It doesn't get oily- or even worse dry and crack (I hate when other foundations do that). It works perfectly with my oily skin. And surprisingly, it doesn't make me break out. I'll admit I have a bit of an acne problem, and it's very hard for me to find foundations that don't make it worse. But L'Oreal's liquid make-up has never made me break out. In fact it helps dry my oily skin- which I've noticed has prevented break-outs over time. The shade of this foundation is very light- hence it's "Porcelain" title. I've been told I have 'milky white skin', just to give other's an idea of how truly white this is. Some people have even questioned whether or not I was albino (I am not). But this make-up matches me flawlessly. It blends in easily with my skin and leaves me feeling confident all day long. It covers my blemishes without completely caking my face. It feels airy, not heavy on my skin. And it lasts all day long without any problems. Overall I'm very pleased with this foundation- and I think it will be a part of my cosmetic ruitine for the rest of my life.

I Couldn’t find this bottle in stores, for some reason I could only find the pump version. The formula is exactly like the one I had previously bought. This product feels exactly like my own skin so it doesn’t bother my sensory issues. It looks natural and people are always shocked when I tell them I have foundation on. It isn’t moisturizing but it isn’t drying either. It is lightweight yet functions like a medium coverage foundation. I find I can either set with powder for a matte look or spray with setting spray only for a super glowy effect. My favorite foundation and it’s so cheap! Also, does not settle into lines under my eyes like many other expensive brands.

At first, I believed this product to be a savior. Finally, a foundation as white as I am! I wore it all day with no problems, at least that I noticed. After a couple of months I did begin to notice a problem. Maybe it is just my skin, but this stuff doesn't do a great job of staying on your face. I apply it and it looks flawless for the majority of the day, but a few hours before I am able to get home and take it off it just bubbles on my face and if I touch my cheek with my finger a huge chunk of it will come off. The formula is very thick, so I only use a dab of it over my entire face, which I really liked at first because I know the little tube I got will last a while. However, the thickness has become a problem because it won't stay on my face. It makes my face feel heavy, oily, and caked up. This problem can be fixed a bit with some powder, which was also hard to find because I'm so white haha, but once I found a good powder the caked up feeling and midday chunks that come off on my fingers lessened. That is really the only problem I have with it, however. PROS ------------ -Has a good variety of colors -Affordable -Thick formula forces the little bottle to last a while CONS -------- -Doesn't blend properly into your skin (which is why it cakes up and rubs off so easily after wearing it several hours, can be fixed with powder) Overall, I recommend it. I will probably shop around some more for another, but so far this has been one of the better of my experiments just because of the color.

I bought this and the W4 after thorough research and reading all the review it had online. It is very liquidy and is super blendable as the name states. For me I don't need too much coverage except for the pores and blackheads time to time and red discoloration in my forehead, and Loreal True Match is just about what I need for all that. It considerably evens my complexion and it looks so natural. By the way, I use only a small amount of this foundation like half a dime sized mixed with a small pump of my face lotion, and that's all I need. It stays on all day and the price is sooo affordable. I used to use the high end foundations and I find that just because they're expensive doesn't mean their quality is much better. At least not for all of them. I'm glad I finally found this foundation and I'll keep using this. FYI, the W5 and W4 are basically the same shade, did anybody else notice that? I bought both shades because I wasn't sure which shade I was completely. I tried W5 on one side of my face and W4 on the other and there was no difference! I'd recommend buying one shade for the summer and two shades down for winter, and mix the two during the transitions from winter to summer. Overall, I love this foundation.

Love this foundation! I normally don't like anything on my skin- hate the mask look and I also break out easily. I've had this in Classic Tan (N7) for a few years but could only use it in the summer as it was too dark when I didn't have a tan myself. Just got around to ordering True Beige (N5) - which is two shades lighter than the one I already have-- and it mixes perfectly with the darker shade. In the winter, I'll use just the True Beige which is the perfect shade for when I have no tan left at all. This makeup really does blend like a dream, but it's important to know how to do it! It's basically more like a 'liquid-to-powder' type of foundation, rather than a creamier liquid. So I think the problem some people may have (those who say it doesn't blend well) is that they put it on their finger, dab it in several spots on their face and THEN try to spread/blend. You can't do it this way! It dries quickly and is satiny-smooth so that you have to dab and spread/blend in sections. I often don't even put it all over my face, but just in blotchy areas or use it like a cover-up and if I follow this dab and spread technique, I never have a line. This stuff also never gives me any problems with breakouts or irritation like most other makeup does. It's worth noting that I have dry to normal skin, so I can't comment on some folks who have oily skin and say that this doesn't help with that, though I would imagine you would need a powder if that were the case? I highly recommend this- just be sure to really pick the right shade and you're set!

I was recently made to believe I was supposed to move away from drug-store brands in order to be a real woman or something. Whatever. I've tried a few different foundations at this point for that misguided reason but this is still my favorite. It is full coverage but very subtle and natural-looking. Many days I would rub (I always use my fingers) just this on in 2 minutes and go. I don't think anyone would be able to tell I was wearing makeup because it just evens out and blends into the skin so beautifully. Works great as a concealer too. When it starts to get low I squeeze in some moisturizer to extend it's life a bit. I really don't have any complaints. The many colors, specification of warm/neutral/cool tones, and addition of SPF make this a versatile product and all-around perfect foundation in my opinion. I have not found all of these components in any other foundations I've used. I've included close-ups of my (more problematic) right cheek with and without it.

Now, I LOVE this foundation because it is the only color I've found that matches my skin tone. I bought this in Porcelain and it's just perfect. I've tried everything from drugstore foundations to $50+ foundations and they are all too dark. So I'm happy about that... But I don't care for it once it's applied. I'd really rate it a 2.5 if I could. Generally about halfway through my day, I have to powder my face to keep looking fresh. With this foundation, I find myself powdering my face about every two hours as I start to look oily much faster than usual. Also, after about 4 hours and under bright lights, it looks REALLY cakey. I hate that This foundation is also VERY light coverage, as many others have stated. Liquidy, watery, which isn't terrible as it feels light on your skin. It also wipes off very easy, like I barely touch my face and it rubs off. I'm extremely satisfied with the color but the rest is just like... soooo close, but fails. I'd recommend to girls who have difficulty finding their perfect color.

I am one of those who "suffer" from being incredibly pale. I happen to love my complexion, but it never ceases to be commented on by strangers. I have a hard time finding foundations that are light enough for my skin tone until finally a brand came out with a porcelain colour. I originally (and usually) purchased this product at a well known drug store, but when I happened upon it on Amazon, I was happy to see that they had this product for $11 (normally $18 in stores). It gives good coverage while matching my fair skin tone and it isn't oily or heavy. I've been using this foundation for just over a year now and I don't have any plans on switching. A few people have recommended the higher end brands for foundation and have said they have lighter colours as well, but for someone like myself who wears makeup just for work/when going out and it literally gets washed down the drain at the end of the night, I can't justify spending $80 on a bottle. The only complaint I have is that it took about a week or so longer to receive in the mail that it was scheduled for, but that was also around the Christmas rush as well, so I don't imagine it was anyone's fault for it being delayed.
