As mentioned in the description it doesn't works on battery at all. It gives a pretty good flow of air when used with USB cables but my experience of using it with the mentioned batteries was awful. When I inserted batteries in it, first thing I noticed was, that the flow of air was not that good if compared to USB's plus after 10 minuted I couldn't even feel I was sitting in front of a fan. I just couldn't feel any air on my skin. Overfall for me this was a complete fail. Really wish I had an option of returning it. Really disappointed with this purchase.
