Prescribed by my orthopedic dr after a sprain/break/surgery on one ankle and a hairline fracture on the other ankle. I wear them for racket sports and couldn’t play competitively without them. Perfect for support in lateral movement! I couldn’t play otherwise. They’re comfortable and lightweight. Only drawback is they can make me warm while playing and they wear a little on the inside of my shoes—but, they allow me to play and are so worth it!

I have been having ankle pain for 5 months. I had been on 600mg of Ibuprofen 3x a day - maximum dosage. After wearing this brace I have drastically reduced my need for pain relievers. The brace offers comfortable and sturdy support for my very, very flat feet. Somedays I don't need pain meds at all. Very happy with this quality product.

This is the wrong ankle brace!! I’ve never put it on!! I had purchased the right one on April 22. It never fit right because the top lace wouldn’t even reach the velcro it’s supposed to be secured to!!! I won’t make the same mistake again ordering from this company!! Because nothing was refundable so yeah send the ones that a Dr office would return because they were defective!! So, disappointed I tried to save a couple dollars by ordering here clearly a big mistake both items were wrong and or defective. Way to go preying on the poor and needy. This was my experience with this company; next time I’ll stick with my Drs office! This was a total waste of my money and prolonged my pain waiting for my brace…only to have top lace not long enough?? I bought my first brace at my surgeons office it fit right the top lace was clearly longer!! Don’t waste your money… shop local, shop in person then you can make sure it is right!!

This is ankle brace definitely gives great support and helps when I hike. My only issue is where you first start to lace up the piece of metal (not sure what to call it) pushes into my ankle and is quite painful. There is an opening to slip a piece of material in and I'm hoping it will be a buffer as I really like it. The size is perfect.

Best ankle brace I've ever used! Provides lots of support, without the bulk of an aircast or other cast. Gives enough flexibility that I can use this brace to workout and go on hikes without worrying up my ankle rolling. Between the metal side supports, lace up, and velcro wrap around, my ankle is always secure

Broke my ankle/bones. After long haul cast/crutches, boot I finally was given this by my medical group/Dr. I am wearing it now. The young guy who fitted it told me he had been hiking very rugged AZ mountain day before. He wears them on both ankles to help prevent injury. I purchased a second as he made perfect sense. I am not yet back to long walks, hiking but will always in future wear both to protect myself. Cheaper on Amazon vs Medicare price, no surprise.

Please add a zipper. I want to love this item. I know I need to use this all the time for at least a month, but I barely made it a week. I just could not handle the laces. It was too painful to put on. I had to contort my foot to get it into the brace, which rather defeats the purpose of this item. Then lacing it up was an ordeal. I am still recovering from knee surgery so bending all the way down or brining my leg and foot all the way up were both painful. I was hoping this would be better than the boot, but it was just more inconvenient overall. I was able to drive for short distances which was the only plus. This item needs a zipper in the rear or side.

This product is exactly what I have purchased from a podiatry office for much more $. I have posterior tibial tendonitis in both feet and have had to rely on this product for ankle support for this condition. I would recommned it to anyone who needed the reinforcement of the stays and the support of the figure 8 straps. Anyone needing this product should check out this option before buying from a doctor's office if they have to pay because insurance doesn't.

After fracturing my ankle I was looking for a product that would help to stabilise my ankle when playing hockey. This was a great find and a great product. My ankle feels very secure with the tie up front and additional strapping.
