For the price, this tool is great for tire changes! It spins up then hits hard takes about 3 hits to break the lug nut loose, even getting the axel nuts off! Wasn't expecting it to work but it did have not found a bolt this thing could not remove yet! been using it for over 6 months probably used it over 50 times so for the average user to have it in the trunk of a car for an emergency. it's a good investment unless you like cranking lugs by hand! This impact will even work on my jack to lift the car!!

This is a fantastic quality product for the price. I bought it to replace the A-Arms on my old Polaris Ranger. This machine worked great and had I not had it - it would have been impossible to complete the work. Definite buy, if you are considering one of these. I now carry it in the back seat of my truck, this power driver makes changing tires on the road a breeze.

Ok. So I JUST got this about and hr ago (2/18/21). Just took it out of the box and as you can see there is corrosion on the tip. Right on the little ball fitting that snaps the sockets in place. Its corroded!!! So the sockets just slip off! Not sure how it works just yet or IF it works, but this looks as if it has been used. The value was decent which is why I got it. When the weather gets a little better and some of this snow melts, I will get out there and use it as I need to inspect my brakes. But this is absolutely unacceptable. I dont care how much I paid for it or what the price was. I could have just gotten one at the pawn shop if I wanted a used one. I may return this because Im not sure if used, how much life is left or what. So I will be returning with an update soon. Amazon...do better. Better yet...im just returning this. I cant belive this crap! 😡 UPDATE: Received my replacement in record time, before I could even drop off the old one. BUUUT! Juat tried to tighten up the lug nut on my 16 Camry from a finger tighten....it was a 👎. Lot if clicking but no turning. The accompanying sockets weren't deep enough which is crazy because I don't have the unusually long lug nuts. So the socket fit but wouldn't seat correctly. The socket slide off the chuck extremely easy like the ball in the chuck tip doesnt grab them to lock it in place so it just wobbles. Not a lot of power. Its a no for me. This thing is a piece of junk. Returning

I said that I would give a 2nd review, and as promised here is that review. 1) If for what ever reason you have your tires put on at a service shop or a dealership this gun will NOT take the lugs off If the mechanic did not you toque sticks. If you brake the lugs off and toque to specs than you will have NO problem taking the lugs off with this gun. I myself Had a problem with a tire on my car so I bought this gun and when I got it I tried to take the lugs off, and I could NOT budge those lug nuts with a beaker bar or this gun. I will admit that I thought that this gun was garbage and did not work as advertised. What I found was that if your lugs are put on with an air gun without a toque stick this gun will NOT WORK!!!! If your lugs are put on and toqued to specs than this gun will work.

Was fretting over the fact that I need to shell at least $80 everytime for tire rotation. Bought this product after some research for a DIY experience and boy am I happy I purchased this! Takes only about 10 seconds to remove a lug nut. Was able to rotate all 4 tires of CX-5 within 1 hour with just my regular jack and a spare tire to assist. Cord length is sufficient to reach all 4 tires of a SUV and the small LED should come in handy for any emergency tire repair at night. The box it comes in is pretty flimsy and the one I received already had a crack on the inside, but given that the functionality of the product is not effected by this I am not going to remove a star. If you are on the lookout for such a product... Don't look any further!

Great quality product, reasonable price, reasonable shipping. this tool works good if you use it properly. 1st you need to connect it to your car battery, and have the engine running, to have the appropriate power. connect proper lug nut socket, and DON'T APPLY PRESSURE TO LUGNUT, just pull trigger until loose. WHEN TIGHTENING, YOU MUST MAKE IT HIT AT LEAST 7 TIMES, I would recommend checking the lug nuts with a torque wrench for proper torque. or recheck for Safety purposes. some reviews are not so great, because they don't know how to use this tool properly. I personally love this tool. learn how to use it properly and you will get good results.

Only used it once, worked ok

I like how much power this tool has. I tested it out as it is a gift. It removed the lug nut without any trouble, and put them back out with ease. I am very confident my 16 year old daughter will have no issues if she has to change a tire on the side of the road.
