Shows to be excellent quality with no blemishes.
So far so good. Writes well, reads well, very few if any blemishes.

Great Price. No burning issues. Great Print Quality.
I just bought the PlexDisc 25GB 6X BD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable 25 Pack Spindle and the PlexDisc 700MB 52x CD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable at the same time, so far they have outdone my previous (and numerous) Verbatim in every way. The picture that says "Bonus Disk" under "The Wall" was a SCAN of the one without the "Bonus Disk". I simply added the text since I no longer have the original copy...as you can hopefully tell from the images, the print came out BETTER than the picture it was copied from. Same printer, same set of ink. Canon Pixma TS9120 if anyone is curious. Burned on a Pioneer XS07UHD USB 3.0 External Burner with no issue doing a Clone of the bonus disc copy I had with no label on it, just sharpie. It works perfectly fine, and looks better than my Main Movie lol. I'm tempted to copy the main movie again after buying some PlexDisc BD-R DL to make them look identical heh. I did a text only CD-R and a Picture with text BD-R both from the bottom area of the stack and both without so much as a hiccup, I can't speak for the lifespan or if I'll end up with any duds yet, and I will update both reviews if I get alot. But so far, like the CD-R rack, best bang for your buck right now, pretty much anywhere. These things are great, hopefully they never drop the quality or raise the price because I found a new disc dealer.

Looks good so far! (Also clarifying some of the confusion with different discs)
I'm leaving space up front for updates later as I just bought these and haven't burned much yet. These are the blue-coated discs. Another reviewer mentioned older ones having a gold dye instead of blue - likely from a different manufacturer under the hood. They stated that they were having problems with getting coasters pretty often with the blue coated discs. I took a peek at the details from ImgBurn (see first image) and found that the blue-coated discs that I got are CMC Magnetics discs (CMCMAG-BA5-000). What stood out to me was that they claim to support 8x, 10x, and 12x write speeds, which are multiples up to double what the packaging claims they are. This seems to highlight a potential reason for excessive coasters. So far, I've only burned one disc and I purposely limited it to 6x in ImgBurn and it was successful. For what it's worth, I'm also using a Pioneer burner at this time. I have an LG burner, but had some issues with it elsewhere, so I'll probably stick with the Pioneer on these as I know it can reliably produce burns. I have plans for using these, so I will update down the road on how that goes, but for now they seem okay. I've checked the surface on a bunch of them and they all look clean and without any visual defects. Update 7-16-25 I have burned 10 discs from the set as of today and have had NO failed burns so far. I have been keeping the source images around so I can continue to test them for premature degradation and have had all test good. These have all been burned with a 6x rate limit as described before. Discs are continuing to look good! Of course, testing them too frequently can cause them to degrade from the usage, but there is no evidence of issues from the burn quality. Update 8-31-25 Ive burned 14 of the discs from the set and have continued to have no issues at 6x burn rate. I started to figure I will need another set later on, so I bought another one and ended up with the orange/copper coated discs others were talking about! There may be one other variant by Ritek but I have yet to see them. The MID on these is OTCBDR-002-000 (see second image) which I have seen used quite a bit by other brands on Amazon. These are manufactured by OptoDisc (not to be confused with Amethystum who sounds like they use the same OTCBDR-XXX-XXX MID). The optical quantum discs are another OEM using OptoDisc... and unfortunately the reviews of that disc variant are not great (and yes it is that specific manufacturing variant). They look to be having a lot of issues with disc rot where the dye breaks down and disrupts the reflectivity of the surface - making data indiscernible by the disc drive. This isn't *supposed* to happen with HTL type disc dye, but it is and optical media does in fact degrade eventually - especially with a bad storage environment. I haven't burned any of these yet as I just got them today. I'm debating whether I want to test them out for the sake of knowing at the expense of 30 bucks... From what I have found CMC Magnetics is a brand more familiar and frankly reputable. They manufacture Verbatim's media and have been behind other magnetic media we've seen in the past (TDK, Maxell, etc. for video tapes) Optodisc seems to be a grayer area. The good news is you can tell which type of discs you're getting a hold of without opening the wrapping. The CMC Magnetics cake box has thin plastic contour around the indentation (image 3) or you can check out the Verbatim 25G 50 pack cake box, it is the same package I have. The OptoDisc cake box has broader rounded contour around it (image 4) - a subtle difference but noticeable - or you can check the Optical Quantum listing or the PlexDisc imagery on this listing. I also noticed there is an engraving on the OptoDisc ones showing their branding (image 5). It is mirrored in person but still readable with the right angle of light reflection I flipped the image for readability. Another way is to check the part number on the side. The CMC Magnetics discs are manufactured by OptoDisc Taiwan allegedly (image 6), which is consistent with CMC Magnetics being based in Taiwan, with part number 633-214C. The OptoDisc discs are consistent and say manufactured by OptoDisc (not OptoDisc Taiwan! Image 7) and the part number is 633-214 as shown in the product listing. The sales SKUs are the same, meaning they are sold as interchangeable items. It seems the CMC Magnetics variant is left up to chance that you get a hold of it, as they are usually more expensive if bought from Verbatim.

Works well with good quality burner---Until this last 50 pack
Update 8/7/20- For years I have sung the praises of PleXdisk BD-R's. Hopefully this last group was a fluke (QC asleep at the wheel for 1 batch). In this group there have been 12 with visual flaws (i.e. lateral streaking) and as it turns out these disks are either un-writable (10) or will write at a very low speed (2). The severity of the visual blemishes coincides with the problem. I will order another 50 pack in the future but if I find the same problem , I will have to assume a down trend in quality of PleXdisk BD-R's. I still recommend PleXdisk as hopefully this is a one time problem. My advice is when you receive your 50 pack do a visual check of the recording surface. Streaking = Coaster. Previous review: I've been using these disks for about 4 years, with very few "coasters". The majority of failures are due to my own errors using Burn Aware (not their fault). I have noticed that when I use my LG burner there tend to be more failures, than with my Pioneer BD209. As a side note the Pioneer also reads and writes faster as well. As far as longevity... disks burned 4 years ago still work fine. It does seem that these disks are getting a little more expensive (by a couple of $), but still seem to be a very good value.

I bough these while in a pinch, after doing some careful research, because I could not find equivalent Verbatim discs at a reasonable price. Every disc burned so far can be read flawlessly by multiple players and computer drives. It remains to be seen whether they will degrade over time or not (like other cheap brands), but for the moment I'm cautiously optimistic.

Had a few of these now. And overall very happy. The face is printable or you can scribble on with a Sharpie. No issues burning at 4x with Imgburn.

Premier blu-ray illisible. Second blu-ray illisible.
