Okay so I'm one of those people who need glasses but as I use different strengths for different things, I really don't want to get prescription glasses. And I have a problem with forgetting to carry a pair of glasses when I go out but I never forget to bring my cell phone as I carry it on my pants waistband so having a pair of thin glasses that I can attach to my cell is great for me. They're lightweight and seem to be pretty sturdy for what they are. And if they ever break, I'll just get another pair as I really love them. I haven't had any problem with the case coming off my cell case and if it ever does come off then I'll just use a Command strip to put it right back on. The strength is 2.50x and it is just as good as the regular 2.50x glasses I have so that's good about it. I haven't had any scratches show up on the glasses so they seem pretty well made.

I recently had cataract surgery and don’t need glasses anymore for most situations. However when the print is very small or the lighting is poor I sometimes need readers. I’ve attached the Thin Optics to my cell phone and I never have to bring a pair of reading glasses with me. These glasses work very well and don’t add a lot of bulk to my phone. The optical quality is pretty good, given what they are. My only issue is that they sometimes come out of the case when you reach in your pocket for your phone, but it’s not a big deal. These Thin Optics have really solved a problem for me and I would recommend them.

The solution to having reading glasses whenever you are on your cell phone. Before I found these I was always searching for reading glasses when my cell phone rang. I got these, stuck them to the back of my phone and TA DAH!! No more searching!!

I got these for my husband after he saw his friends had them stuck on the back of their cell phones. He loves them. They don't fall out of the pod case, and they are way more convenient that carrying around a regular pair of reading glasses. Handy for reading menus and labels on food items, etc. No more glasses falling out of shirt pockets or getting broken when crushed in pants pockets, or left behind in the car or at home. 10/29/17 UPDATE - The downsides: 1) He's had them for 7 months now. I've had to replace the stickum 3 times with double-sided tape. His phone is protected by an Otter Box. Each time I peel off the old tape and then clean both surfaces well with acetone to remove all tape residue, then clean it with rubbing alcohol to remove any traces of acetone, then wash both the phone case and the pod case, and then clean again with rubbing alcohol before reapplying the tape. It lasts maybe a month to a month and a half. I know it is going to happen again... so going to Home Depot to see if they have a stronger version of double sided tape. It's getting annoying and they unstick at the most inconvenient times. 2) The lenses are now a haze of scratches which tells me they are not very scratch resistant (no real coating on them) and/or they are made from a softer plastic than prescription glass lenses. I don't really know. Just guessing. He's not gentle on stuff yet he has traditional reading glasses that he has had much longer, and uses them daily at home, and they are not even half this scratched up. In spite of those two things, they are still worth having.

I love the idea of these and always having a pair of readers at my fingertips is amazing However, there's some fundamental design flaws and quality issues with this product. I've had them for less than 4 months and the lenses are covered in scratches. The case has also started to crack and the crack is growing. The scratches are due to the plastic lenses rubbing against the plastic case when they are removed/inserted. The case is just hard plastic on the inside with nothing to protect the lenses.

These reading glasses are actually better than expected! I assumed that they would suit my needs, but it wasn't until I actually experienced them hands-on that I was convinced. The case is so thin that it fit's conveniently in my pocket, or even in my wallet. The case is very strong too. The reading glasses are a joy to wear. They look great, not "geeky", and boy are they easy to use. As you can tell, I am VERY glad I took the chance and ordered a pair. I am going to order another pair to put in my car. I highly recommend the ThinOptics Universal Pod Case + Rectangular Reading Glasses. GREAT product and GREAT answer to my needs.

Works great I love it, was always forgetting readers but won’t going forward. Small but can easily read menus and other things. Easy in and out of case, no weight to speak of.

If you are having difficulties in reading all the small print whilst filling out forms or reading labels and you either forget or can't be bothered taking your reading glasses with you everywhere, then these are the answer. They are small, effective and easily secured to your phone, or placed in your purse, so you will always have them handy. They are light and secure to your nose quite well. I think they are a great idea.

Manejables y puedes pegarlo en la funda del móvil. Muy útil para personas que no ven bien. Se lo regalé a un familiar y está encantado porque si no llevaba las gafas de cerca no podía leer los mensajes del teléfono. Aunque no tienen patillas se ajustan bastante bien y no se suelen caer cuando las usas. Eso sí, son un poco caras para lo que son pero en general estoy satisfecha con la compra. Lo recomiendo.
