It works as intended and is easy to setup. I've had it for a few months now and it hasn't had any issues. I screwed it to a 2x4 that's secured between two studs on my wall and it works great. Wouldnt recommend doing that but also, work with what you got.

Overall once you get your head around it, it's actually shockingly effective. Being able to adjust what weight the arm will respond to means everything you put on it should work with the right setting. It's very sturdy with a nice reach, and has made laptop use on a couch much more comfortable. While you can type and use a mouse fine with it, I find using an external wireless keyboard/TouchPad added even more comfort. The only cons I'd give it is that the mounting adjust for holding the laptop in place could look a bit more elegant. The instructions aren't great either, it just happens to be mostly intuitive to install if you've ever mounted anything at all.

I highly recommend this product, I purchased it to hold my laptop while I am playing the drums. I was easy to assemble, Holds laptop in place without any problems. Love the design of the product, Great product for what you pay for it, highly recommended it

I was searching for a wall mounted arm with a long reach for my laptop when sitting down in a recliner. This was just right. It's heavy duty but I did do a couple things to it. The arm sections are aluminum with thin plastic bearing sleeves. With the weight and pressure put on the sleeves when the arm is fully extended with the laptop I could tell that the plastic sleeves could wear out. I applied a plastic/metal grease on every movable part before using it. I also remounted the 2 springs on the laptop support that pivots. It was too hard to push down and get it to stay. The adjusting screw wouldn't make enough change. I'm overall very pleased with it and it makes it very easy and comfortable using the laptop now. FYI, one of the plastic caps for the arm sections was missing in the box. Also, the mount that goes on the wall was black but everything else was silver.

I use this on my table beside my recliner. I attached a monitor/keyboard/mouse mount to use my laptop. I also used the bar that I already had on the table because where I had space beside my recliner on the table I wasn't happy with. I have days from my fibromyalgia that I can't move much so my computer is close at hand when I want it. I've used it for hours everyday since I got it and it swings up and down back and forth every time I get up. It is a bit bouncier than I expected but it holds well for me to game or surf the web. Overall I would recommend it.

I like that I can use this for my laptop or a monitor. I also like that cords can be hidden in the arm, and that you can adjust the springs depending on the weight of your laptop/monitor. What I like most of all is it's strength. In my experience, it is not firm enough to type on, if ypu are using it with a laptop - it tends to sway up and down. But this is not surprising, given it's long reach. (Update) This arm is very strong! The screws holding it to the chair have sheared twice from the weight of the outstretched monitor. But the arm is still in good shape.

So I pulled the trigger on purchasing this wall mounted arm. And let me say, it is better than what I expected. It’s very heavy duty. I imagine it could support a lot of weight. I have a lighter laptop so this arm works like magic. I can move my laptop around like it’s floating on a cloud. Everything is fully adjustable and it even comes with all the hardware you’ll need. My only con with this is this…underneath each arm is a plastic plate designed to cradle cords. Well one of the clips broke off one of the arms. I found them quite difficult to remove and place back on. All in all, this is a great product! Look no further if you’re shopping for a wall mounted laptop (ect.) arm!

This is exactly what I needed, my wife uses it while in bed so she can code on her laptop. Its sturdy and folds up against the wall when not in use.

Not quite as long as I was hoping, but it does do what I wanted it to. Feels very solid
