💅 Elevate Your Nail Game—Wherever You Go!
Olivia is a female inventor. She loves nail art very much, but she thinks doing nails in nail salon is time-consuming, and not quite as good as she wants. So she decided to create an entire nail line herself. After nine failed attempts, she finally made her first nail drill machine at the tenth time! Three years later, she launched her own independent brand OVX,which is a beauty brand with salon-quality products for customers to use at home. Make Beauty with OVX Review: Great value, perfect for home use! - Love this drill! Got back in 2020 to work on my Father’s nails as he was getting intolerant of standard clippers in hospice. Worked very well for him, and REGULARLY use this to also file down my dog’s nails, I do my own nails (prep, shaping, and to get off gel top coat), and my husband’s nails. It’s always out and ready to go, and it has never failed me! It isn’t portable (rechargeable), and the power cord isn’t very tight into the drill, so it can fall out if pulled on. But once you get use to being careful with the cord it’s not an issue at all. That said I would not expect this to be practical for professionals, but this is a great, inexpensive, at home use nail drill. It has lasting power, fits great in hand, is very easy to maneuver, and doesn’t get very warm when using it for longer periods. This is an exceptional buy for the price. I am so grateful I had this for my Dad’s comfort. Review: The Little Pink Powerhouse That Thinks It’s in a Nail Salon - Let’s get one thing straight: this Portable Electric Nail Drill is pink, yes, but it’s got the soul of a construction worker. I expected a dainty hum, maybe a polite buzz. Instead, this thing spun up like it had something to prove. My first thought? “I could probably buff my car with this.” It’s oddly satisfying watching it handle thick gel layers like they personally offended it. The speed control actually works (imagine that), and it doesn’t sound like an airplane taking off. It’s compact, quiet, and efficient, basically the opposite of me when I’m trying to do my own nails. The sanding bands and bits pop right in, and before I knew it, I’d accidentally achieved the kind of smooth finish that usually costs $40 and a long wait under fluorescent lights. The fact that I did it in pajamas while watching a true-crime doc just makes it even better. In short, this little pink drill is the best kind of overachiever, one that doesn’t brag about it.

Very nice
This was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but then I realized it was because until now I used my husbands dremel. This is perfect. It is easy to handle & there is no noise. I used it for the 1st time & although I really cant tell the difference between the forward or reverse it did a good job. I really like the steel tips for starting. They arent going to wear down like the sanding pieces. I was also able to use it all along my heel & the sides of my feet where they get a little tougher skin from being bare foot all of the time. It worked great on both fingernails & toenails & because it is small it will be easy to tuck away regardless if just at home or when you travel. It actually fits just nicely in my hand & there was no heat build up. The price was good, it seems to be made well, I love the choice of colors, its is small enough to take for travel & it did a very good job. I would recommend this item. It would also be a nice gift for the gals in the family for those in between touch ups on their nails.

Little gem of a drill for DIY nails!!
Like many other reviewers, I’m trying to do my own nails to save money; and let me tell y’all, it’s freaking HARD!! So anything that makes it easier you’ve just got to get. Like this little gem of a drill. No more hours of filing polygel nails off. This drill is light weight, runs off current with a long cord, works in forward and reverse at variable speeds, and comes with enough bits and plenty of file band refills. The switch on the cord instead of on the drill itself takes a little getting used to, but it’s no big deal once you do. The drill itself doesn’t ever feel hot as long as you turn it off every 20 minutes. Four stars because it doesn’t come with instructions on what each bit is for or how and when to use each one. Those are included on the product page, but it’s a hassle to stop and look on Amazon when doing my nails. Overall, I love this drill.

Amazing value, great home drill!!
The best value in nail drills on Amazon, I’m so pleased! You may notice what appears to be this same drill white labeled by many different sellers, often at double cost. The lower price on this one made me wonder if it was somehow subpar, but I took a chance anyway knowing in a worst case, I could return. I am so happy I did! It works beautifully, is powerful yet quiet, and perfect size to get a good hold and angle for doing both hands. I love the reversable motion setting as I find its easier to drill toward myself on both sides (so when I move to the left hand I switch the motion). Yesterday, I drilled down a gel coat and shimmer layer I wasn’t liking on my nails and redid a new dip. I was worried about the overheating mentioned on some similar drills but all in all, I used the drill for about 1.5 hours with short breaks in between with no issue. Many years ago, I was a nail tech for some time and find this drill to be just as effective as the $300 pro models. Highly recommended!

Best thing I’ve gotten in a long time!
I rarely write reviews, but, I must say this little drill is awesome! I originally bought it for getting the gel polish off of my nails due to the nail salons being closed during our quarantine...however, I also decided to work on my home as well. After using this easy, pen like drill on my nails to successfully remove the Gel polish, I found another terrific use for it! My “new/old” house” (96 y.o.) needed a make over. There are a lot of French doors that desperately needed a good sanding, removing the paint from the many years. It was so difficult getting in the corner nooks and crannies that I tried this drill! Let me tell you, next to a high powered Dremmel drill, this drill fit the ticket perfectly! All the little drips and collections of paint drips came off in a flash! All they way down to the original wood! My next project is to rehab my VERY intricate, original cedar front door. I’m using this drill to get to the places I never thought possible. All in all, I LOVE THIS DRILL! Do yourself a favor and buy this...it’s a cheap alternative to a more expensive, less needed tool. You will find multiple ways this little thing can change your life and workload!

Good drill
I bought this item July 9th. Today is August 26th. I’ve only used it LITERALLY 3 times and today in the middle of me doing a fill in to my nails it died. I’ve read a review or 2 of this happening to other people but also read great reviews so I took a chance. The manufacturer should really do something about this issue because otherwise it is a really good drill. I’m just salty now because I don’t have one anymore. 9/21 this is an updated review: As I left my previous review, I did not expect the manufacturers/ sellers to contact me about it. They actually did and shipped me a brand new drill. I have not had any issues thus far and was able to do my fill in. I did notice this drill actually had their logo name and the old drill did not. The last picture attached is my old drill 6.9.2020 Update: drill stopped working again. 😩 I only do my nails once a month so it can’t be from over using it. Has to be like a shortage in the cord or something.

Not for long term use!
It’s not bad pretty loud and there’s more vibration than you want for a product you might be using for more than a few hours a week. I returned mine and got something better
