The product did not leak the first year. By year two all three of the units were leaking. New plumbing tape and washers did not help.have to be on top of unit to program it.

This wifi timer didi not work. Was wifi reliable and app was easy to work when downloaded. Problem was the timer itself. It would not close. App indicated timer was on and valve was closed but it stayed open.

This review has been a while in forming since my phone could not connect, via the app, to the device. I procrastinated in updating my phone to the latest Bluetooth security updates. But, when the phone was connected - the device worked like a charm. The timer is located in a well pit to control the hose. The problem I solved, with the timer, was cutting off the hose without climbing down and twisting the spigot closed. This is up north where there is no WIFI so a Bluetooth connection was more important for operation. Btw., since I did contact and send my unit back - I received super service and a fast return. Love these. My hose connections are hard to get to. With these get within 15 ft and it controls the on and off. App has several variable settings for lawn watering.
