## Overview

XADO EX120 Manual Transmission Fix is a high-performance friction modifier additive designed to repair, restore, and protect worn metal components in manual and robotic transmissions. By creating a ceramic-metal coating, it stops slipping, shuddering, and noise while enhancing shifting precision. Compatible with a wide range of gearboxes and effective for up to 62,000 miles, it also offers resilience against heavy fluid leaks, making it a must-have for maintaining and extending transmission life.

## Description

XADO EX120 Additive for Manual Transmission Extreme Action 120% (EX120) Revitalizant is the ultimate solution for rebuilding, repairing, and protecting worn metal components in manual transmissions. Designed to address issues like shudder, slip, and noise, it works by filling in scratches and restoring the original geometry of gears, bearings, distribution blocks, clutches, and more. It then coats the treated surfaces with a durable ceramic-metal layer, ensuring long-lasting protection against future wear. XADO EX120 Additives can be used universally across various types of transmissions, including robotized transmissions, sequential gearboxes, Direct Shift types, transfer cases, and differentials. One treatment of EX120 can last up to 62,000 miles, providing an extended period of protection and enhanced performance. To apply it, ensure the syringe is at room temperature for easy flow. Simply pour the contents into the transmission fluid filler neck of your gearbox, transfer case, or differential. The recommended dosage is as follows: for 1-2 quarts of oil, use 1 syringe; for 2-5 quarts, use 2 syringes; and for 5-8 quarts, use 3 syringes. From the very first hour of operation, you’ll notice a decrease in transmission noise levels, indicating that the revitalization process has begun. If noise levels don’t improve, it may be a sign of substantial wear, requiring a doubled dosage. If no improvement is seen after 100-200 km, inaccurate diagnostics might be the issue. In any case, fluid works its magic by forming a protective metal-ceramic coating on any operational mechanism, but if your unit is critically worn (100% wear), replacement of destroyed parts is necessary. For those dealing with high mileage transmissions or looking to stop transmission shudder and slipping, EX120 offers a quick and effective shutter fix transmission. Order now and get this EX120 Friction Modifier Additive - Repair Stick or Slipping by XADO delivered to you!

Review: used in car with bad input shaft bearing or other - *warning* TL;DR scroll down for results: I splurge bought a cheap project car for a couple hundred bucks , no check engine light, motor sounded great, no grinding in all 5 gears, smooth as butter, passed smog tech was surprised how clean it was... just a weird sound i've never really heard before coming from the engine bay, seems like an easy fix! too good to be true right? well ..... I guess this project car is going to be a bigger project car than I bargained for I am entirely new to FWD cars... RWD clutch system / transmission, easy DIY for me, had a similar sound in my mustang, changed the throwout bearing, input shaft bearing, clutch the whole deal, sound gone for less than 200 1998 VW Mk3 cabrio/golf/jetta 020 5 speed transmission: clutch out, in neutral: terrible tight belt sound, whirring/ roaring, not necessarily grinding clutch in: silent like the night, can barely hear the engine after countless hours of forum searching I gave up my dreams for it to be just the throw out bearing... pretty sure it's an input shaft bearing or something inside the gear box . I changed the gear oil with synthetic fluid, very little metal shavings in the oil, but metal none the less: no change in sound I added the whole 1 syringe into the transmission fill and let it idle while I washed my other car. First 5 minutes, car on jack stands, wheels in the air * going through all the gears: no change in sound After washing my car and letting it idle (about 10-15 minutes) I come back to the garage: the sound was significantly reduced by 70% I kid you not; I was extremely skeptical at first. I'm pretty sure the sound reduction is the anti friction material helping whatever is rubbing not rub so much; I hope the ceramic coating and metal repair could somehow mend whatever is loose in This product gives me more confidence that it will last a bit longer until it finally blows.... DIY rebuild is more expensive than just bargain hunting a used one around town who knows? i've only ran it for 25 minutes tops total. Maybe the longer I drive it the better it will get? I might just buy another 2 vials, one more for this car for good measure and one for the mustang T
Review: Xado gear revitalize seem to help increase the life of your transmission. Used it before on boat lower end and snowmobile chain - I have used this product before in the blister pack on my snowmobiles chain cases and I had my track replaced on my 1996 Polaris Xlt touring sled and the shop which did it commented on the condition of the gears in the chain case and how the reverse gear looked like new despite the snowmobile having 7500 miles on it. I did this back in 2010 and now have about 9000 miles on my Sled. I use Amsoil interceptor and Amsoil chain case lube and Xado products to help maintain my vehicles. I used Xado for the first time back in 2007 when my wife told me our 1995 Dodge Stratus ES with the 2.5 liter V6 engine was making a rattling sound. I checked the oil and found nothing on the oil dip stick. I added oil and soon found that the factory oil pressure sender sprung a leak. I went over to Napa and got another oil sender and changed the oil with Amsoil synthetic and I noticed once the engine warmed up the oil light would flicker when idling. I went to a mechanic and he told me I most likely spun a con rod or main bearing with the engine being ran without oil. I told him I use Amsoil and he said that most likely prevented the engine from locking up. He suggested that I use Lucas which help some what on preventing the oil light from flickering constantly whIle idling. I stumbled across Xado on the internet a decided to give it a try and by the second tube out of the 3 blisters the oil light flicker was off for good. We drove the car for another 2 years after that before we sold it and the check oil light stayed off. I use both Amsoil synthetic oil and Xado engine treatment in all my cars and I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with over 400,000 miles on the original never been rebuilt engine and transmission and I am not sure if its entirely the Amsoil or a combination of both Amsoil synthetic and Xado but the car still runs well and the transmission shifts very well and I use Amsoil ATF which I recently did a drain and fill on. I even put it in my Fiesta after changing the DCT gear lube as preventive maintenance. I seen about a 1 mpg increase in Fuel economy since changing the fluid and adding the 120+ gear Xado gear revitalize. I figured it is cheap insurance and I like the fuel economy of the 2012 Ford Fiesta SE so I will see if it helps to increase the cars longevity even with Ford's poorly rated DCT 6 speed automated manual transmission. I bought the car used in 2014 and loved the price $10,000 and fuel economy 40 mpg. I thought about buying a Prius but a similar used Prius was over 7000 dollars more expensive than the Fiesta for simular miles 24,000 on the odometer and model year. So far working out very well.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Under About this item, it's stated the dosage depends on the oil system capacity but couldn't find anywhere what ratio to use. What'd be for 11.5 qts?**
A: Good morning,If your oil capacity is 11.5qts, you would need to use 2 syringes. Please feel free to give us a call at 888-787-9236 if you have any other questions.

**Q: This product work with CVT transmission?**
A: Yes xado claims you can use it in CVT transmissions.
I have used this product in 4 different automatic transmissions with positive results.

**Q: Can you mix it with ATF then pour into the transmission?**
A: You can mix with what ever fluid you are using in the transmission. If it comes in a syringe use a pair of side cutters and remove the plastic ring that is on it and it will make it easier to get all of the fluid out of it. I put a piece of hose on the syringe that I received and put it down the dipstick tube so it would go in the transmission and not get stuck on the sides of the dipstick tube.

**Q: The best automatic transmission treatment**
A: I didn't believe till I tried it myself. My car Honda airwave,1.5L, about 96k kilometer was making little noise and some hesitant take offs. Expert advice was change transmission.I was shocked...
As I had bought; just precautionary, couple of those treatment syringes and were lying there.
I changed Honda CVT and pushed in one Xado injection. Just after first trip to airport; total around 40km and it was silent and smoother take offs.
After 8000km; 5k miles,I did another repeat of change CVT+ injection. It's 40k kilometer of real quite n smooth drive. Man it really works.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wish i tried this sooner
*by L***I on March 22, 2023*

I was skeptical of this stuff at first, 100% thought I would need to get my transmission looked at, however I was just having some noise and slight shifting issues, and I wanted to try this firstm my transmission holds 4 quarts of fluid so I added two of these syringes as needed, now my transmission is operating so smooth after driving it the reccomended mileage! Took care of the scratchy feeling when shifting and also took care of the faint sounds it would give off! Plus, the shifting is very precise now! This was reccomended to me by my mechanic to try first before I brought my jeep in. Very good stuff and definitely worth a try! Its only 20 bucks which is very affordable considering the alternatives
