I got two sets of these . Two pair of the six he sides have already started to split. Not sure how regular wear and wash causes this

I was looking for one the help my husband for chafing. This has allowed his skin to heal and prevented any further chafing . This is his favorite. He is a huge fan. He wears a 38 in shorts and I bought him the medium and they fit him perfect. I wash them with the rest of the clothes normally even though the reviews said to take delicate care. I will continue to get him these if/when they wear out. SO worth it!
