If anything stands out with these, it's the brown color. They took some getting used to but I actually prefer them over white now. They have a nice "earthy" look but you can be the judge if you want brown napkins at your home or restaurant. The 8.5 inch size is nice and large, and these are definitely fancy napkins, despite their color. They have enough "grit" to them to be useful to wipe your hands without being uncomfortable.The napkins come in 12 bundles of 100 and take up a good amount of space because they are so large. I could see a higher end, environmentally conscious restaurant using these, although they also work well for home use as well. Overall, I'm very happy with these napkins. When I ordered them, I thought that they were going to be white, instead they are a paper-brown bag color. I think I would have liked them better had they been white, a little softer and thicker, which would have made them a little formal. Don’t get me wrong, there are some the positives. These napkins are large, can cover large areas and they are made from recycled products.
