Brickell Men’s Smooth Brushless Shave Routine - Shave Cream & Aftershave - Natural & Organic (Scented)

I've never really found a shave cream that I liked very well. I've tried all of the commercial brands, as well as upmarket brands like Anthony for Men, Rocky Mountain Barber and Taylor of Old Bond Street. I've stuck with Taylor of Old Bond Street for the past two or three years, because while not great, it was the best of the bunch. With those brands, I never felt like you really could get the closest shave possible, regardless of the razor you used. (I've tried a ton of those, as well.) I received a sample of the shave cream and after shave in a Brickell Sample Kit. After a couple of uses, it was amazing the difference. It was one of the closest shaves I've ever had, short of a professional shave. I can now go 3-4 days before I need to shave again, compared to 2-3 before. It doesn't dry out your skin like the other brands, plus when you use the aftershave, your face feels like a million bucks. It's also eliminated issues with ingrown hairs, breakouts, etc. This product is great!

I used to use the Aveeno shave cream, that would REALLY foam up and cover your entire face. So when I go this product, it stated on the container that it was to be used without a shave brush (which sucks, cause I really like using shave brushes, they're relaxing). When I first put this product on, I noticed it made almost no foam or anything, it was nearly translucent. But after shaving, it felt great. The Aveeno tended to create ingrown hairs often, but as of getting this shave cream, my ingrown hair issue has all but gone away. Lots of product in a small container, have had it for a while now and it still looks like its brand new. The after shave has an incredibly fresh power, and I love the scent to it. It makes my face feel great, and I definitely notice the improvement over the other stuff. You get what you pay for!

Smooth and refreshing to use with pleasant scent. Notice less cuts and razor burn when used with a shave oil. I tried it without the oil and was a little rough on a 3 day beard. It's a no lather product which takes getting used to, but am starting to enjoy as it allows you to better see what your shaving which is nice. Definitely good quality but a little spendy for shave soap. Will purchase again.

I have been using a different product for years now that requires the brush. Thought I'd take a gamble and try Brickell's Shave cream. My first use....WOW!!!! What a GREAT product!!! Went on very smoothly, and created a really really close & comfortable shave. Nice scent to it as well. Have been using it daily and highly recommend purchasing. GREAT STUFF!!!!!

I gotta say that I hit the jackpot here. For years, I was on a quest to find some kind of shaving routine that would leave me without consistent, chronic razor burn. Until I found this product combo, I had just settled on a permanent five o'clock shadow and only fully shaving for special occasions. The shave cream looks insufficient on your face if you're used to using aerosol creams, but don't let that fool you. One pass of a medium to high quality razor blade over the shave cream leaves my skin smooth, and largely not irritated. No shave cream is 100% perfect, though, and that's where the after shave lotion comes in. There's a slight sting, but it's gone just as soon as it came. The skin absorbs it fast, and gave me the feeling I've always wanted in a shave. It even works on other (multiple) regions of my body as well. I can't imagine using anything else, and for the first time in my life, I don't loathe shaving. I enjoy it and look forward to it. Every man should feel this way.

The aftershave is just really a gritty gooey cream, a common pore clogging hand moisturizer.

It's nice stuff. Smells good. A light smell that dissipates quickly. The after shave is refreshing. The shave cream works well enough, though I've used shave butter at 1/3 the price that delivers a more comfortable, closer shave. Which is why I only give 2 stars

The shaving cream is not going to foam. It’s all natural ingredients so I didn’t expect it. I was able to get my normal close-shave as any other shaving product I’ve used in the past. I’ll stick to this one from now on since there’s no reason to use one with chemicals when this product performs just as admirable. The aftershave feels light and refreshing. The scent is subtle and doesn’t linger. It’s great because it doesn’t clash with my cologne. I’m sticking with it.
