We followed all the steps.** A: This is a total rip off! I have bought two and neither of them ever even sprouted. This product needs to be taken off Amazon. If you want a Venus Fly Trap buy one that is already a plant. Thumbs down on this one. **Q: Followed all steps nothing grew. My son is so bummed.** A: I am betting the instructions did not mention that the seeds need cold stratification before you plant them. Cold stratification is the process of subjecting seeds to both cold and moist conditions. Cold stratification can be achieved by placing the seed packet in a refrigerator for about 3 weeks. Do not freeze them, only put them in the refrigerator. They will not sprout till they go through this period. I hope this clears up some confusion. **Q: How do I put the Venus fly trap together** A: Supposedly it takes two years to grow I looked it up don’t know everything just started getting into Venus fly traps first one **Q: How small is this container ?** A: It's probably 4 or 5 in tall. It's not super tiny but to be honest with you I do not recommend this product because we have bought two and neither one of them grew. From the other comments I see no one else's grew either.
