Didnโt break!
We ordered 2 based on reviews and experience with these types of things. We expected it to break before the job was done and wanted to be prepared. No issues whatsoever getting the job done and I have a spare in case it does eventually break.

A magical item needed to slay the 4 Audi caliper bracket bolts!
The profile of this tool allowed me to remove the two M14 triple square can bracket bolts in my Audi without taking out the shock absorber due to the fact it's really tight in that work space. I used a 18" 3/8 breaker bar with this tool and stuck it with a deadblow hammer to get the bolt loose. It held up well and did not shatter. It was worth it's cost in gold pieces!

Worth it's weight in gold
This thing was worth the price. I started the brakes on my daughter's '07 Jetta and got to the caliper bracket and figured it was a T50. Wrong. Naturally no one locally had one in stock so I had to put the car back together and order one from here. Of course, I butchered the bolt I thought was a T50. So this meant that I had to hammer this socket onto the stretch bolt for the caliper bracket. Thankfully I had some wobble extensions because there's barely any clearance to get anything more than a breaker bar and this socket into the opening. After an hour or so of hammering, I had the socket seated fully in place. Popped off the wobbles and put my 3/8" breaker bar on and easily removed the bolt. Schwaben makes a kit which is 4x more expensive, designed for low clearance areas. I was skeptical of this socket not having enough clearance, but quite pleased I chose to try this one as I've heard some mediocre reviews regarding the quality of their tools. The splines show no sign of damage and the socket is ready for the next brake job.

Don't buy, broke first time I used bit
I bought this to remove a rotor on a Volkswagen. The very first time I used it it shattered! I have never had a bit shatter before. I was trying to loosen it with a hand tool also, not a power tool. Outside the return window so just a waste of money... and time as I had to stop working to buy a bit locally ..

Solid tool for the price!
In the strange world of auto repair this 12 point socket was a life saver, the special lugs i had required this tool and i did not have one at the shop, buying from Amazon made the transaction easy and cost effective, I would have to search high and low for this if i wanted to buy it from a retail store. Plus the cost was so good I bought 2 pc and they have been put to use.
