Its defective, but i cant return since i dont have the box :/
when i plug it in, it works fine for about an hour, then randomly drops the connection, but comes back straight away. so when im playing online i get booted from lobbies due to connection issues but it comes back straight away so i need to mess around rejoining lobbies. I cant refund it due to my mother throwing away the box thinking i was done with it. very compact, very easy to use, but i cant give it anymore than 1 star due to it being broken for me... maybe youll have better luck.

Stay away load of rubbish
This product has never worked. I've tried several times and even had an IT guy look at it.

If i could give this a minus stars review i would…complete waste of money.
I bought 2 of these. One set for the bedroom which limits my devices to 60mb speeds when i have a 1gb internet. The set for the living room wont even register a connection with the router so zero devices in the living room work at all. The build quality is good and solid but whats the point in having things built well on the out side but doesnt do what its designed to do. Absolute rubbish. Would never recommend.

Failed after 2 months, out of return window
Had the product in July, didn't start to use it until August when I had my system set up. Now no switching. Powers up, flashes all ports active, plug in and only has the incoming ethernet as active. Our of time to send back, suppose I have a power adapter that might be good for something. Very disappointed. Am I the only one to get a duff one?

Drops out randomly. Absolute rubbish
Garbage. Drops connection randomly despite all the lights saying otherwise. Buy a different brand, this will only give you grief. Oh and don’t bother with Netgear Tech Support. My support ticket is unanswered for 6 months.

Not a fan of Netgear
I have only ever bought Netgear 3 times in my life and all 3 have either arrived faulty out of the box or developed a fault within 6 months. This item was faulty out of the box. Contacted Netgear to get case number and returned item. Personally, I would recommend Tp-link as maybe I have been lucky or that their goods are reliable

Only two out of five ports are functioning
Give yourself a favor and test all ports when you receive this device. I bought it few months ago and now i wanted to use the other ports but they are not functioning.

Doesn't work
Have spent hours trying to get this to work with no joy. Even stopped my smart TV from working which was not even tried via this switch. (TV network connection restored as soon as this turned off so probably some IP address contention going on)

Despite that I bought this item via amazon.SE inside EU, it came with incompatible AC plug(I guess UK variant). Therefore I cannot use it. I think that it violates the Low Voltage Directive or alike.

Ürün güzel ama ingiltere uyumlu adaptör ile gelmiş. bir de üstüne adaptör satın almak zorunda kaldık. En azından ürün açıklamalarında belirtilseydi beraber satın alırdım. Bir de adaptörün gelmesini beklemek zorunda kaldım.
