Or is it pure solid oak wood ??** A: It's solid wood. After 3 years still looking good. Use place mats etc or it will mark. **Q: Has anyone put this up by alone (i.e. 1 person assembly)** A: This really is a two-person job. The top arrives in one piece I.e already assembled, and it’s too large and heavy to lift onto the legs by yourself. **Q: Is this suitable for outdoor? Weather proof ?** A: I would suggest no, it is finished for indoor use. **Q: Does the table extension leaf store inside the table when not being used?** A: Yes it stores inside the table between uses. The table is itself is beautiful but it is absolutely solid and the leaf is very heavy. It took 2 people to build. Came at earliest estimated time, well packaged and brought right into the house by delivery drivers. It is very heavy! It took two of us about an hour to construct, mostly due to the holes not being filed properly, no problem though. Once sorted the bolts lined up perfectly and, although heavy, simple enough to put together. 8 people for Xmas Dinner who were well spread out and plenty of space for food. The best feature is the central stand leaving plenty of space for the chairs. Would buy from this company again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely solid and great value for money *by C***Y on 7 December 2021* This table is worth every penny, it's great value for money in comparison to some dining tables on the market. It's solid - very heavy (you definitely need two people to assemble it) and looks/feels more expensive than it is. I've been searching for a decent 8 seater table (we've got this one permanently extended but it's very easy to take the extender out and tuck it away) with centre legs instead of corner legs, that doesn't break for the bank for about a year so have really lucked out with this one. The only thing we struggled with initially was figuring out how to pull the table apart to fit the extender - it took us a while, but underneath the table top are two black switches, one on each side - to pull the table apart you need to flip them upwards to loosen the mechanism. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality and value *by A***G on 16 August 2022* Purchased this as a replacement for our old table. Wanted something modern yet rustic and this fit the bill perfectly. The fact that its made from solid oak is a plus too. Was really straightforward to assemble and use. One word of warning is that once constructed it is heavy.
