Each is nicely designed and cut but they both had a very strong and noxious chemical odor right out of the package. Fortunately, this is easily remedied by soaking the stencils in hot soapy ( I used Murphy's Oil Soap) water for a couple of hours. I like the size and the variety. A serious problem however, was the disgusting plastic smell. So bad I couldn’t keep them in the house. I left them outside for 24 hours but it made no difference. Then I soaked them in water with dawn dish detergent and left them outside to dry overnight; they still smelled ( I’m talking give you a headache smell). So I soaked them again for a few hours and let them dry outside and finally they were ok. That’s the reason I gave three stars; I had to do a lot of work before I could use them.
