Fast cutter
Got it for my inland swap top flat lap. Over the moon awesome, grinds so fast and much cheaper that the one from inland. Love how fast it cuts, and everyone always asks what that shiny disk is, it really catches the shop light!

Better than DMT for WorkSharp 3000
This wheel works great on my WorkSharp 3000, much better than the DMT wheels. This one is quite coarse, and I use it to reface old hand plane blades that need a new or corrected angle. Then I follow up with the WorkSharp sandpaper discs. If you order one of these, be prepared to wait and wait and wait for delivery. They come direct from China.

Very good Solution
Because I was learning at first a lot of my plane irons and chisels had less than stellar shapes and edges. When I got my Work Sharp system I bought this wheel in the hope it would make less work for me to get those tools to a better maintainable condition. It did exactly what I wanted it to do better than I expected..

Great price
Everything seems very well-made and put together I’ve only used them a couple of times but they seem to be really great for the money!

Great blade! Awesome price.
Awesome blade especially for the price! Been grinding a lot of rocks on it and it's still going strong. Highly satisfied.

Lost grit, developed grooves, and gouged a chisel -- the first time I used it
I bought this and the 1500 grit disc, figuring it was a good way to get diamond wheels for my Worksharp. Put it on an MDF backer, and the first time I ran it, (on a chisel), not only did the diamond grit come off, but there were multiple parallel grooves on the disc, and it left a deep gouge on the bevel of the chisel. The backer and the Worksharp, as well as the chisel bevel, were all dead flat, so there were no imperfections that might have caused this, except for the imperfections in the disc itself. The 1500 disc lasted a bit longer, through at least one decent sharpening process, but by the second or third chisel, it too lost its coating, developed grooves, and gouged the face of the chisel. I'm just glad I didn't try it on a good plane blade first.

Bonne pour les agates, jaspe, quartz et autres pierres de rivière. Je ne vois pas pourquoi je paierai le gros prix si celle-ci fait la job

I installed my disk against a grinding wheel on a 6 in. bench grinder. If you have a 1750 RPM or variable speed grinder, it is best. On my side, i start my grinder and after it reaches about 1800 RPM, i stop it and use the rotor's inertia to sharpen my knives / utility razor blades. Apply LIGHT pressure as these discs remove a LOT of material. In fact, i'll probably purchase a 3000 grit disc later on. Use a scraper tool to sharpen your utility razor blades for both safety and angle control. Also excellent on wood chisels but take great care to keep the original bevel angle. Not fine enough for beard shaving razor blades though.

It has held up well after removing saw marks and smoothing over a dozen agates! Worth the price.
