Clean Seed, No Residue, Excellent Packing, Decent Price. Birds & Squirrels Love This Seed!
Excellent! Superbly packed in a secure bag inside a secure box. No chance of breakage. Decent price. Very clean seed no chaff or dust inside. My wild birds and squirrels love it. One thing to note: this is not cracked seed but whole hulled seed. If you have very small birds like finches and wrens, it helps to break up the seed a bit inside a Cuisinart Chopper. A few zaps and done. Tiny birds appreciate the smaller bites. Leave the rest of the seed intact for doves, towhees, orioles, squirrels, etc. If you buy already cracked seed, it is very messy with heavy residue that sticks to the bottom of your feeder trays. I find that White Proso Millet and hulled Sunflower seeds is all I need for my wild birds. I use a large flat shallow wood tray on brackets on the fence. On this tray I place Chick Feeder Trays from Amazon. This is filled with millet, then sunflower seeds. The birds have to stick their heads into it to feed, eliminating fighting, scratching, and seeds flying around. I place some shallow bowls of cracked seeds nearby for tiny birds. Some bowls of nuts for squirrels far from the birds - walnuts, almonds, peanuts in shell, and sunflower separately. All animals happy, no spillage or frustration from denying any hungry animal any food. I have fat, glossy squirrels, and very healthy singing birds around me. The food chain expands too, with hawks hunting excess birds. I recommend this product. I really love their packaging! No stringy plastic bits falling into the seed when opening bag, just clean strong paper I can recycle.

Very Clean Seed With Big Kernels, Birds Devour It
Once the birds started polishing off 25 lbs in under a week, I knew it was time to step up to 50 lb bags. My previous brand didn't go above 25 lbs, so after some searching, I landed on this brand because of the price and the positive reviews. They weren't kidding about either the clean seed or the large kernels! I love how there is no debris, just the seed I paid for. The seed smells fresh as well. From what I can tell, the birds love the taste because they keep coming back for more! I decided to try the medium chips for the next round since goldfinches make up a large portion of my clientele. I received the chips today and put out a mix of them and the coarse hearts. If the birds like the mix, I will keep both on hand for the varying sizes of birds. Update 1/27/26 & Review of Medium Sunflower Chips: It took the birds very little time to demolish the entire 50 pound bag of coarse hearts. So far, the response has been the same for the medium sunflower chips, they've almost finished this bag too! I ran out of the hearts before the next bag of sunflower hearts is due to arrive, so I've only had chips to put out. All sizes of birds swarm the feeders for the chips as well as the hearts. The smaller birds eagerly eat either size, but they don't drop nearly as much of the chips to take their bites (to the point I've had to start actually putting out food for the ground feeders). The larger birds don't seem to mind the smaller pieces, as they continue to show up in full force. I will still put out a mix of whole kernels and chips so that the ground feeders will get their fair share from the finches dropping food to them, while some of the chickadees and titmice choose to perch at the feeders for the chips instead of flying in and out quickly with one seed. At the end of the day, everything gets eaten, nothing goes to waste.

Great product, true hearts
These sunflower hearts are the best I've ever seen. My wild birds love these things. The bird tray is empty daily. Unfortunately the squirrels also love them. LOL. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. I would order these sunflower hearts again, the fines are acceptable.

High quality
Worth it. Bluebirds love these. Starlings don’t eat them. The full size means you do t have half a bag of dust. I was buying another brand that would not last nearly as long. These are high quality and never a moth or bug.

Good Solid Whole Sunflower Hearts
Very good solid sunflower hearts with no shell fragments and very few, if any, sunflower heart pieces. I was very pleased with the quality of the product and the birds and squirrels seem to be very happy with the taste.

Quality seed without leaving messy shells
Good quality seed & no shells left on the ground. A bit more expensive but you're not spending half your money on messy shells that attract rodents!
