Replogle Globes 22719 Anne Globe, Large, Off-White

It’s beautiful. It is easy to read. There is so much information and history on it, I could gaze at it and study it for hours. We just love it. The size is larger than most other globes so it’s especially nice to point out places to the grandchildren. This will become a family heirloom.

To say I was upset is an understatement. This was absolutely not even close to what I ordered. This was a cheap piece of crap $30 plastic globe! I returned and I’m getting all $465 back on my card because this was an absolute disgrace.

This was one of the nicer Globe/Frame combos I found here at Amazon. As I read in other reviews, so I found when mine was shipped, it comes with wood stained much darker than in the promo pictures. Closer to black than to red. The frame is a very beautifully designed wood piece. Overall it makes a compact floor ornament that fits almost anywhere in the household and definitely adds a touch of class. The globe is a decent size at 16" and the antique muted colors look much nicer than a blue-watered globe. It has raised mountain texturing but it is very minimal. I found that on my handmade globe the seams for the graphic lined up very, very well, almost machine perfect. Overall I think it's a beautiful embellishment for any home, but at just over $520.00 after taxes it is a bit pricey.

This globe is just what we wanted. Came wrapped in VERY protective packaging, and base is sturdy so grandkids cannot easily tip it over. Very clear markings and perfect for educating kids and adults about world perspective..better than just using a map. 18 inch diameter is a much better choice (ours) than the smaller version ( which we used to have).

My Replogle Queen Anne globe was about a year old when I noticed I was having trouble keeping it on its proper axis. It started leaning to its side more and more as time past. I'd fix it and walk away only to find it leaning again. Now after 3 years, it's completely laying on its side and I can't get it to sit properly after any and all adjustments. Here's where it gets worse: ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service. 3 emails, phone calls, even negative reviews (which they won't post) on their site - I've heard nothing. Buyer beware with this junk.

Disappointed in the quality of the fake wood. For the price, I expected better quality.

I was really excited about this product and expected top-notch quality from the price point but ended up a bit disappointed. 1) the wood is not cherry color neither as commonly understood nor as pictured. the actual wood is very dark, almost black. 2) the seams of the map are of poor quality. The map picture does not match well around the equator and some longitudes Overall it's ok but too expensive for the quality.

This globe is a beautiful piece and very easy to read.
