Chemical smell covered up by a thoughtful vanilla satchel, but otherwise gorgeous and perfect.
The background is shades of mediums and dark blues, the leaves are different shades of purple with gold-ish/tan outlines, and the flowers are mostly reds, pinks, and orange, with some teal, whites, blues, and purples tossed in. All in all, it's strikingly beautiful in person. It came in a soft, silicone like drawstring pouch. If you roll the pad up tight enough the pouch may be reusable for traveling purposes. The seams to the pouch seem easily stretched, though, so I don't think it'll suffer a lot of abuse from continued rough handling. There was an interesting smell when I initially opened the pouch, a kind of chemical + sweet herbal scent. The material the pad is made of smells pretty strongly initially, but dissipates quickly after opening. They put a vanilla scented satchel in the center to combat the smell of the material. I appreciate the gesture. The seams on the pad are really well done, there are no loose threads or uneven lines. No imperfections on any of the fabrics. It's durable, and stands up to abuse. You'd have to put a lot of effort into damaging this thing. I'm happy. As long as the off-gasing doesn't prove to be carcinogenic. ๐คฃ

Extra Large Mouse Pad
I purchased this for my office desk and it was perfect. The colors are vibrant and the design is nice. It will work very well for my desk. I also purchased the wrist and mouse pad so the whole collection was an excellent choice for me.

Great Product
I ordered this to cover up an ugly worn out desktop. This pad is not only beautiful, but absolutely a great product. I love that it does not slip, and it wireless mouse works great on it too.

Love it! Covers Ikea Kallax (4 square unit) perfectly
Using this to protect the surface of an IKEA Kallax cube storage cabinet/bookcase (with 4 cube storage compartments, 2 up, 2 across). It covers it perfectly, with maybe 1/4" overlap all the way around. Well made, graphic is very vibrant
