Review: Truck Driver's friend - I've used these units in my Freightliner truck for almost five years now and they are an absolute life-saver for me. This unit fits perfectly in the unusable space where a built-in fridge would normally go, with room left over on top for an extra shelf. I store it there when driving down the road, and at night I pull it out and place it between the seats. It allows me to spend the night in rough areas without ever having to leave the safety of the truck cab, park overnight at customers (which almost never make facilities available to truck drivers) and more than once has come in handy during long-duration traffic stoppages. It's all plastic and I'm rather rough with mine. If I keep the moving parts well-lubricated with vaseline I'm less likely to break off the dump handle from kicking it closed at night. (It's still usable without the handle, just a little harder to grasp what's left of the original flat handle.) You can track down the manufacturer and order some replacement parts (I've spares for the two removable lids and the big rubber gasket.) I clean the inside of the base with holding tank cleaner I got at an RV dealer, this keeps gunk from building up around/within the gasket crevices and reduces leakage problems, especially when I overfill the unit. I don't use regular household toilet bowl cleaner because I'm unsure what those products would do to the plastic and rubber construction. I won't drive truck without one. They don't last forever under daily abuse but they're inexpensive enough that I just buy a new one and use the older one for parts. It's a tax deduction for me and worth every penny. The only downside with this unit I've experienced is that the little window that indicates the fluid level inside the base invaribly gunks up and quickly becomes useless, and I haven't ever found a way to reach it to clean it. The RV holding tank cleaner hasn't ever un-gunked it for me. It's a minor issue and I haven't missed it much, it's easier to check the level when flushing it, anyway. I wish more drivers would invest in one of these, it would make the roadside a lot cleaner (and if you're a driver, you know what I'm referring to here!)

**Q: how big is the flush hole and dump hooe?**
A: Flush is 3 inches, dump is 2 3/8

**Q: Does the lower section (waste container) have a built in carrying handle or do you have to carry it using both hands?**
A: It has a built in handle.   Some photos show a screw on discharge spigot but the one I received did not include it.   No problems emptying it though.

**Q: Can you buy a lid for waste tank**
A: The waste section on the bottom has a screw off cap. If you are looking for a replacement cap, I have no idea.  The top and bottom separate for disposal purposes and the bottom can be carried by a handle to wherever to dump.

**Q: How does it flush?  is it that lever on the front of the toilet shown in the photo?**
A: That lever opens the waste tank.  You pump it to flush with water with the waste valve open.

I was concerned about how small this potty seemed to be but once we got it out and set up, size wasn't an issue. It's very sturdy and when the strong winds blew our shower tent over, the potty didn't even tip. We did have one issue with it, and that was when we did the clean water plunge, it leaked around the stem. It was clean water so that wasn't a big deal for us, but I am going to call their customer service and see if there is a fix for that. The cassette for grey water was easy to dump into the pit potties at our campground, and that vent made it worth every cent! Once you vent and unscrew, it was super easy for all the contents to be dumped and not grossed out.
