No surprizes
No surprizes here. Fit, looks and quality quickly shipped. Looks like I've found my favorite socks. I'm 6'4" and wear a size 13 1/2 shoe. Recomended.

I'm very happy with these compression socks
The Dr. Scholl's men's graduated compression socks are comfortable to wear all day. The 8-15 mmHg is perfect for the amount of compression I need. The graduated compression is strong enough at my ankles and the top is loose enough to not bind and restrict blood flow. I'm tall and the sock comes up to just below my kneecap, staying in place. The socks are relatively thin and breath, so they don't get hot, while providing good support. They're priced right and I'll buy again.

Keepers but runs small
I wear size 8 in men's shoes (10 in women's.) I ordered men's socks in size 7 - 12 to be sure they would be large enough. If they were one millimeter smaller I would have to return them. They are comfortable in the foot and calf but could not be any tighter. The top cuff is a little too tight but I can tolerate it for a couple hours and then turn it down 3 inches. I like them. I bought them mostly to wear on cold nights, but the compression is mild enough to still be comfortable. They are really well made - not thin at all - I don't think they will get holes worn in them like some of the others I read reviews on.

Good Quality
I love these high quality support stockings. They control swelling in my ankle/ lower leg very well and are quite comfortable once you get used to wearing them. They are fairly heavy material, not thin hose grade stuff, strong enough that pulling on them to get them on does not cause them to rip. I usually wear them all day and take them off in the evening. I am 6’3”, 240 lbs. and these are perfect for me. I am 78 and can put them on myself, but sometimes my wife puts them on for me. I have reordered more.

They stay up all day long
Husband has changed from work boots to Crocs work shoes. The Crocs grab his tube socks at the heel with each step until the sock is dragged down to his ankle. I got these support socks and they stay up all day long. They hold up with each wash. They fit. An extra value to these socks is he gets lower-leg support all day long. They are not as difficult to put on as my regular support socks, but they still give good compression (I borrow them from time to time). While it’s a bit expensive to replace his tube socks, we will be buy more as the value outweighs the cost.

I didn't know
These are very thin, low compression "dress" stockings. They are sold by retail drug store chains across the US. They work well for some people. I just didn't know they were not what I wanted when I bought them. I wrote down some other things I didn't know below. Maybe you're like I was. There are (at least) three levels of graduated compression socks. Sock compression gradually decreases from the foot to the top. The compression levels are specified in units of millimeters of mercury (mmHg -- about 0.02 psi). * light compression is 5-10 mmHg * medium compression is 10-15 mmHg * full compression (e.g. "athletic", etc.) is 15-20 mmHg Ask your doctor what to get if you don't know. You should perform a web search for "put on compression socks", it is a good trick. When you are shopping for socks to try on, pay attention to all the dimensional information the manufacturer provides. When you get the new socks mostly on, make sure the sock fits smoothly over your foot with the heel and toe both comfortably in place. Stop if you've torn the sock, otherwise pull it up the rest of the way. Make sure they are not bunched up about your ankle, pull them up higher if so. Smooth them out from the toes up to the top. The top of the sock should not bunch up or roll, it should lay flat around the top of your calf. Rolling down the top of too long socks will double the compression in the wrong part of the sock. Check with your doctor but, if your footwear accommodates them, then you might want to get the same kind of socks you like to wear now. Surely someone makes what you're after, you can even find some in comfy and fashionable wool. Happy shopping.

inconsistent product
In the past 3 years I have purchased 7 packs of 3 pair of these socks and they are the most inconsistent product I have ever purchased. Out of the 21 pairs I have purchased, I have at least 5 sock that are at least 2 inches shorter than the others which makes them completely useless. The 1 pack I got was like a thick athletic sock, the next 3 packs I got are like a business sock and the last pair I got is like a very thin stocking. Every time I have purchased these socks I have done so by going into my old orders and clicking on the "reorder tab" so it is not like I am searching for them and have select different socks every time. I think when you hit "reorder" then they just ship you whatever sock that they want to. The reason I have ordered so many is because they are so inconsistent. I wish I could find these in a store somewhere that I could actually pick out the ones that I want, but then again you still might get 1 or 2 that is shorter than the rest. It is very frustrating considering how much money I have spent on these socks.

My husband likes these socks as comfortable and a good solution on his swollen ankles. They are rather expensive and unfortunately their price has been rising. I am buying these socks over and over as cannot find better fit for my husband. Mentioned on Amazon 3-pack had been never available as a choice, when I was ordering - it would be probably better price and savings on them in final total. The price is much lower than on my primary purchase so I’m adding extra 1 star to make it 5-star purchase. My husband still likes these socks.
