Came together very well

great model
Great model to build. Not too difficult but does have some small parts. Comes with a pilot figure. When sitting next to a P51 Mustang in same scale it looks smaller. But they were not large planes, so I think the scale size is correct. Painting it was a little more complicated than other model planes I have done. I think my only real problem was finding the right colors to use. Overall, a fun model to build. I'm thinking of getting another one and paint it in the tropical color scheme.

Good clean fit
This is a very good kit. Enough parts to keep it interesting and several options. Good instructions as always. Probably took me 8-10 hours over many days to complete.

Great beginner kit
Very easy to build, goes together very well as most Tamiya kits do. Very enjoyable build. Several paint/decal schemes to choose from. Would highly recommend for someone getting into model building.

Another good tamiya kit
Not a bad kit, recessed panel lines, tiny fit issues around the wings and stabilizers, the decals werent very good, but that was fine simce i used montex precut masks for the swiss version.

A great inexpensive model
The ME109 was Germany’s mainstay fighter for most of WWII. This inexpensive model meets Tamiya exacting standards where all the parts fit perfectly. I used an artist fine tip brush to paint the canopy and acrylic paint pens for some details. There are decals to represent different squadrons.

Excellent historical detail.
Not for a beginner, which I am not. Very detailed kit with many options for configuration (in-flight, landed, canopy, engine compartment can be open or closed) detailed engine compartment, armaments' and cockpit. Historically accurate painting guides and decals. Tamiya is one of the most professional kit providers geared toward serious model builders.

Historic plane set
If you love old aircraft, this is a quality set. My son enjoyed assembling and painting it and now displays it in his room hanging from the ceiling. It looks like the original and it made well.

Another Tamiya triumph, the plastic parts were clean and detailed for the scale of the aircraft. Only bare minimum tidying up to do, and a sharp craft knife blade run over any mould seams soon dealt with them. The parts are thankfully not attached with large attachment points to the sprue so are quite easy for removing to avoid damaging the plastic. No fit or join issues with this one and the end result, after some airbrushing, camoflauge application and the decals applied, turns it into a very nice looking WW2 fighter aircraft. Hopefully the photos will do it some justice.
