It's been some time since I purchased Heygates growers pellets as my 'girls' have been on Heygates layers pellets for several months. I believe that these pellets are the same size as the growers but of course their composition is not the same. Because they are small I phoned Heygates and asked if I should be buying larger pellets and the reply was that large chickens find it easier to eat small pellets than large ones. I hope this helps.
