Honestly I'm blown away by how awesome this headset is. Granted it is "Virtual" Surround Sound but it legitimately is fully submersive sound. Highs, mids, and lows are excellent quality. I tried several differnt genres of games, shooters, driving, action adventures, horror, and sports. All of them sound like your in the game or have it running through a highend 7.1 surround sound system. As for wear ability very comfortable and lightweight, wore them for a straight 8 to 10 hours with no issues with weight or discomfort. Cord is durable and flexible and the adapter for the PC is very helpful. The switchover from gaming to music / video chat is flawless there is no noticable difference like some headsets. Music sounds the same as games with mids, highs, and lows. It's like wearing a pair of 7.1 surround speakers. The detachable mic is a nice option and it doesn't loose recording quality for being detachable like most headsets . Also the swivel (DJ Style) headset is great for wanting to take a break and there is no feeling of being "strangled". All in all this is an amazing Headset that any gamer would fully enjoy, this headset is worth every penny. I've listened to some $200 to $300 headsets and this is right up there with them. They also sound great for studio recording for music.

I have been wearing these every day for work, and I can honestly say that I am very happy with them. Looking at these, you would think that these would be pressing on your head and your ears would be sweating in no time. Surprisingly, that isn't the case at all. The design of the ear cushions seem to restrict the pressure and still promote airflow. As well, the removable microphone allows for a lot of flexibility that you would not expect. With a few additional pieces, you could have a free-standing microphone, if you prefer that option. Or, for those who have already purchased a studio grade microphone, this feature allows you to simply remove something you don't need. These headphones are not the kind of headphones that completely block out the noise from the room around you, but I personally find that to be a benefit. If one of my dogs get into something, I need to hear that. They do reduce the noise, mind you, but I have owed headphones that are like strapping a sound booth to your head. These do not fit into that category. They have great sound. Really good bass, but not the kind that's going to be shaking your spinal column. I know some will find that to be a dealbreaker. These are just a great set of headphones overall.

This headset really surprised me for the price. Unboxing it was easy and all parts were there including the owners guide with clear, though obvious, instructions. It was securely packed without rattle space. I do have a couple of minor issues but will note those later. Likes: Solid construction. The cables are covered with braided mesh making them strong and resistant to the twists and abuse we put wires thru. Including the mic/headphone adapter for PC's. The earcups are padded and feel pretty comfortable covering my entire ear without putting pressure on them. This eliminates concerns of califflower type ears. I don't game very much but they isolate without total exclusion of outside sound. I can still hear my wife talking to me. Because they cup my ears I get full range of audio without feeling as if the sound was being forced. When listening to movies I seem to experience nice surround. The bass is very clean as are the mid and highs response. Very little outside EQ was needed for my taste. The Mic: sensitive and provided clear production (I was told) when making calls from my PC. The inline volume and mute are very responsive and not too far down the line. The Negatives: The headset is bulky and did feel heavy after a while. The mic is short. Not a problem for some, but I do like my mic to be in front of my mouth. But this in no wise affects the response. In fact it helps to eliminate the sudden pressure of air when pronouncing "P's". The mic is detachable and may be easy to misplace. Also + or - it can only be place one way otherwise you won't be heard. Highly recommended.

To start, I purchased these knowing that they are not fully closed like some of the other brands. Sound Quality: While it does not hit the highs and lows of my normal pair, it does the job fairly well. I usually just have to increase the volume to hear some things if gaming for the likes. Some movies and TV shows I tried it with did pretty well. It did have some distortion on one of the videos during very low volume events, but it is not a large concern. Noise Cancellation: With it being open, you can hear what is going on around you in the real world which is the main reason I got these. Some days I need to listen for the doorbell and the likes and my normal closed headset does its job letting me not hear much outside of it. This is where having an additional headset comes into play. If I am not expecting anything or anyone, generally I would use my normal pair, but on longer days or days I am expecting something, these work really well. Overall, I like the feel and quality of the headset. The mic is pretty decent, not that anyone complained when I used it. You can also turn the cups so they sit on your shoulders a bit easier, though I haven't really used it for that, it is a nice feature for those who like it. With its price, it is pretty easy to replace as well, unlike some higher end brands that end up costing the same price to replace the ear cushions.

I bought this. A birthday gift for my son. The headset works great and my son uses them all the time. Sound is very clear and is very comfortable.

Purchased this headset for my zoom meetings and work calls; worked perfectly when i had them then stop working all of a sudden. Myself and my husband tried to get them to work again but no such luck. Worked for less than a month and I'm very disappointed.

The microphone stopped working after 2 months. Bad product and no service from Nubwoo. I will not buy anything else from them.
