Understated Value
This is a personal testimony of my experience with the product. First a disclaimer: I am not a physician or any type of medical professional. I have never received a formal diagnosis of candidiasis. My opinions are strictly that of a layperson's who has read extensively on the topic and treated myself to the best of my ability. I recently entered a physique transformation challenge. As a low-carb dieter (99% carnivore), I was concerned about ensuring I remained in ketosis to fuel my activities. I had read something about the benefits of MCT oil, so I asked a friend who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness about it. He recommended MiCkey-T Eight caprylic acid, explaining that caprylic acid is the MCT oil that has best conversion rate to ketones. Satisfied that caprylic acid would be my best choice, I ordered this product from his Amazon shop. As I read more about cayprilic acid, one of the things I have learned is that it is quite effective in battling candidiasis. Candidiasis is a condition in which the candida in the gut has grown out of control and no longer exists in correct proportion in relation to other gut biome. It can also find lodgement in other parts of your body if allowed to cause leaky gut syndrome (a condition not recognized by the medical community at this time). Because there are very few medical practitioners that even address gut biome, my condition went undiagnosed, despite my appeals to my primary care physician to be tested for this. But as far as the symptoms go -- such as mood disorders, toenail fungus and others -- I was convinced I had it. My cravings for fatty sugary foods could only be ignored for so long before they took control, and I was on junk food bender that would last for days, even weeks. Caprylic acid, so I've read, is very effective in combatting candida. Because it is a small molecule, it can penetrate biofilms and it interferes with candida's ability to adhere to surfaces in the body. (See NaturalHealth365 article "Caprylic acid is an effective weapon against candida overgrowth and biofilms" by Lori Alton.) It also works very well in tandem with other remedies, such as oregano oil. After a couple of weeks of taking the caprylic acid, I noticed some significant changes. Most importantly, my cravings were abated. I could enter a grocery store in a fasted state, and not leave with two packages of the latest brand of Oreos, or even any desire to do so. I now look at things like this and think it would be nice to have some once in a while, but not now. Not while my physique transformation challenge is underway. When I went through a very emotionally painful time, I didn't go to the grocery store to buy a pint or two of Ben & Jerry's to drown my sorrows. Moreover, it didn't even occur to me to do this. Again, I do not have a medical diagnosis to confirm this. But what can you do when you feel you have a specific condition that's harming you and the medical profession just isn't interested in helping you and barely acknowledges the condition even exists? Moreover, my mood has stabilized. I do have a diagnosis of PTSD and MDD (Major Depressive Disorder), but lately, despite the stresses and incredible amounts of cardio I'm performing to stay on top of my fat loss for this physique transformation challenge, my mood remains stable. Also, the toenail fungus seems to be growing out. So, it is my contention that I had candidiasis, and my conviction that, if not fully cured of it, I'm well on my way of being cured. And it feels quite liberating, not to be a slave to cravings. And I remain convinced that MiCkey-T Eight caprylic acid played a huge role in getting this situation under control. Six stars.

Works if you work it
I noticed a difference right away, got into ketosis and stayed there using this 3 times a day. Do start slow and build up since it can give you "disaster pants" if you take too much too quickly. I notice more mental clarity, lost a couple of pounds of water weight which was encouraging. I follow a ketogenic diet but I also have two autoimmune disorders so I struggle with fatigue and water retention despite being keto. This MCT definitely helps with energy levels and clearing out the brain fog. Will be interesting to see what the long term effects are. It's okay to cook with if you are so inclined - I use a tablespoon to saute fish and veg for lunch and scrape it all into the bowl so I get all of it. I don't need coffee after lunch anymore! I also used it to make mayonnaise (with some bacon fat for flavor) so that's another way I can get one of my 3 tablespoons a day. It's definitely a high quality MCT oil, I was using a much less expensive brand and didn't notice anything at all so you get what you pay for - in this case a very good 08 MCT oil. UPDATE I'm on my 2nd bottle now, I actually tried another brand ("the" other brand) and I did not get the same results which surprised me. I switched back to MiCkey T Eight after a week and now 5 days later I'm feeling energized again and my mood is back to great. I guess my body prefers MiCkey T Eight to the "other" brand which made me feel uncomfortably speedy and my mood really crashed. I will continue to stick with this brand.

Awesome MCT Oil But The Bottle Could Be Designed Better!
Awesome product. It definitely made my keto sticks a shade darker after using it. Very little taste to it as stated and if you've been using coconut oil and/or butter already, then this gives you a very similar oily mouth feel. For me, it doesn't give me a huge boost of energy or some ultra-mega focusing powers like MCT oils are supposed to, BUT it does help me with appetite control. I usually finish up dinner by 7:30 pm and don't eat breakfast the next morning. Instead, I'll drink a cup of joe with a Tbs. of MiCkeys and a Tbs. of butter. Even if I woke up with a growling belly, drinking this curbs my appetite to at least 12 or sometimes even 1 in the afternoon. My ONLY complaint is the bottle design. I even tried to gently slash the inner seal like someone suggested but had a hard time to the point where I stabbed the seal too hard with a pair of scissors which pretty much didn't make a difference at that point. Unless I have a good pouring day, there seems to always be some oil dripping out on the side. It's thinner than say, olive oil so be careful to have the lid on really tight. I don't like using the medicine cup thing it comes with because I feel like I have to wash it after each use making me feel like I'm wasting more precious oil. So I try to pour with monk-like accuracy each morning into a measuring spoon and usually fail to some degree. MiCkey! Come up with like a slower drip bottle or reduce that gaping hole at the top to a smaller pouring neck.
