However, I do not have enough knowledge to answer your question. Can you get onto the scooter and move back into the seat? Can you reach the tiller controls? Can you use your thumbs to control the speed? I would think that the only way for you to know about this or any other scooter is for you to visit a nearby store that sells mobility scooters of any brand and see what you are capable of doing. The wheels are big - as in 10 inch. But I believe the front section with the tiller on top of the front wheels would be higher. It comes completely apart - the seat, the rear wheels, the tiller section, the battery etc. I suggest you go to www.evrider.com and look at the details and enlarge the pictures of the Rider Express on the Product section. Can you stretch your legs out?** A: Four wheel mobility scooters do not have as much leg room as three wheeled ones because of the fenders on the two front wheels. With only one wheel in front, your legs can be extended on both sides of the tiller. EV Rider is very clear that the deck on the Rider Xpress can not be extended. Your knees will be bent if your feet are on the floor. The only way to get more room is to extend your legs over the fenders which is my opinion is uncomfortable. Had issues with this scooter since month 1.tried many times to get support from seller due to batteries losing charge. In the end they couldn't figure it out, eventually I opened up the battery case to find the batteries were about to explode. They were bulging like crazy. I ended up solving the problem myself after 1 year of struggle and warranty expiration... Even tho the same issue from month 1 wasn't fixed. It turned out the battery charger was defective and overcharged the batteries... So I bought 3rd party batteries and new charger and fixed myself... Crappy company and Crappy service. We started with 1 scooter for me and liked it so well that this purchase is for my husband. He doesn't need it as much as I do but it certainly makes it more pleasant to go to big shows and concerts. This scooter is also very easy to take apart for travel. We can fit two in the back of our pickup fully setup, one will fit in my car trunk disassembled and they both go in our camper when taken apart.
