This is a well made item. The tape end is very sturdy. I do not like Stanly's moving tape end. Is it supposed to move? I prefer the engineer tape as it helps me to be more exact and have to do less remeasuring. It is a nice size and the Hi-Viz color makes it easy to see, less likely to get lost like my last small tape was. I had to replace a lot of tools lately (my tool chest was stolen) and I went back to Lufkin. Way back in the stoneage I was a framing carpenter, the guys I worked with all chose Lufkin. Since then I have tried Stanley and Craftsman tape measures and I have returned to Lufkin for good. The quality build, Engineer's Tape, handy size, and Hi Viz color make this a keeper. All my tapes (up to 100') are now Lufkin.

Husband didn't even get a full day use out of it

I use these at work to replace worn-out older, small, tape measures that came with robotic total stations. I haven't used them long enough to say for sure how durable they are, but they feel like they will hold up well.

Good for small jobs! I like it for myself because of its size and weight. Does the job!!

Could use a wider tape for better stiffness.
