No instructions or accompanying documentation; however lights are plug and play as described and very well made, very bright and low amp.

Guys, you are 0/3 so far. The headlights do NOT install as simply as u state. As stated in another review, the bezel is too thick and the 3 screws will not make contact. And yes, the connections are BARELY soldered on and will break with too much handling. This company sell cheap “upgrades” for your Humvee, and because there aren’t many options, they figure they can get away with it. Oh, and don’t buy their lockable fuel filler door, the holes don’t line up and it looks like a 3 year old cut the thin metal. And their license plate light doesn’t function either. Federal Military, you need to refund or I will let the hmmwv groups to find a better seller. Your $300 trailer plug adapter better work.

Great fit for the 998 Humvee easy install

Had a hard time choosing between 3 and 4 stars, but ultimately this harness really bothered me so I went with 3. It is plug and play like advertised, but I didn't expect to see a standard automotive harness being used. It did come with a picture to show which wires match up on the HMMWV, so that issue from previous reviews seems to have been met. This harness isn't water tight at the bulb, so I'd fully expect to have issues if you do any deep water fording. The harness itself is mediocre at best, one of the connectors wasn't seated properly, I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to push the blue wire (in the photo) back in after connecting it to the headlight. The retaining pin was bent in the wrong direction, and would push itself back when you plug it in. The instructions also don't mention anything about the red wire hanging off to the side, this is for the DRL - you will have to run another wire for this to function so that aspect is absolutely not plug & play. Luckily, it isn't energized, so I didn't see a problem with it hanging out unconnected or protected. Regarding the comments about it not fitting into the ring, I believe the previous reviewers may have rushed seating it. The headlight fits well inside the cup, the alignment features work well to locate it in the right position. When you install the ring, it's easy for the headlight to come slightly out of position, and the plastic/screws on the front of the bulb have a slightly larger major diameter than the minor diameter of the ring. If the bulb is not seated perfectly, you can barely get a screw to start; if you take your time to make sure everything is lined up, it threads in just fine... although the fit/finish of that detail is not very impressive. Overall the lights seem to work properly, although I don't have a title for the vehicle yet so I can't comment on their road performance. If you buy these, I'd recommend considering either remaking your own harness or covering the harness connection with liquid electrical tape or silicone, which is what I'll likely end up doing.

No flashing, and lights up the dark roads. Thank you for being honest on your advertisement and selling me the right part. I only with the lens was traditional glass and not poly glass.

I’ve had these for a couple of months and can’t wait to replace them. Low beams are fairly useless. They are basically a spot light in front of the car. No side illumination. High beams are better. Buy something else. These suck.
