IKEA Part # 116791 - Mounting Plates - 2 Pack

This was a hugely helpful find! You can order the center beam and slats from the IKEA website but you cannot order these brackets. My daughter and I refurbished an antique bed for her and we used IKEA hardware for the substructure of the bed…it worked exceptionally well! (Please excuse my woodworking - the center beam didn’t match up with the headboard so we got creative.)

Ordering this from Ikea would have taken 2 weeks and cost about five bucks each pair. This appears to be a genuine Ikea part, fit perfectly and arrived in 2 days.

Worked as a replacement for IKEA Part #116791.

Same part # as listed in the Ikea assembly instructions. No issues installing it like bending or screws not fitting.

Both the brackets and beam were bent / unfixable on our king malm high bed frame. I was able to replace the beam through ikea, but thought we'd have to buy a new frame without new brackets. These fit absolutely perfect with no modification needed and are just as sturdy as the ones you'd get from ikea (meaning they aren't indestructible but they hold the bed up and are sound).

I lost the part from my other bedframe and this one fit perfectly with the model I had. It’s super stable and durable.

I broke the mounting plates and placed this order. The first shipment was lost somehow and I slept with my mattress on the floor for more than a month. But being the rational customer, it's the shipping company to blame but not the seller, and the seller was nice to refund me and shipped a new one for free. The product itself works fine. And I'm glad I can finally sleep on a real bed.

This worked perfectly to replace our broken mounting plate.

The bracket matches the original one. Easy to replace. Comes in pairs so we have a spare one now, just in case.
