This is my all time favorite bb cream! It beats anything I’ve received in an Ipsy box and far exceeds the overhyped IT bb/cc creams. It doesn’t leave my face oily (combo skin), but it can easily be layered with a primer and/or powder on super oily days. It can be built up to add better coverage than some of my favorite foundations! I’ve pretty much switched to this as my daily go to. Looks a little messy on the skin at first, but after a little blending, wait about 20 mins for it to oddly set to a national finish that has impressive staying power. The finish is so natural after waiting for it to set in that I just use my fingers most days for blending even though I love my brushes and beauty blender. Not for the super pale but still works if you are somewhat on the fair side, as I am. I tried the other versions of garnier bb creams and hated them all while I come back to the oily/combo skin version over and over again. Beauty must have!

To say I LOVE this product is an understatement. Living in Florida, I love using this BB cream in place of sunscreen and foundation most days. It has good coverage for a BB cream (having scars and acne prone skin), but it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin either! I try to have a more natural look, and this is lightweight, simple and doesn’t require a lot of work. A lot of times I throw it on in the car while driving to work! My only wish is that there was an option for a lighter color! Being fair-skinned, in the winter I get lighter and sometimes can’t use it because it’s a little too dark. But I use it 90% of the year and it has kept me from getting sunburns while staying pretty ✨

I'm quite fair skinned, so when I purchased this, it was too dark for me. I mixed it with another bb cream that's fair, and it worked well for me. I've gotten a little more tan, so I use a bit more of this into my mix of creams now. I don't think I could ever use just this, but it mixes well. I gave the tube to my Mom, with the majority of it remaining. She uses it daily. Her skin looks natural, but perfected with it. She gets a lot of complements on her skin. I rated this item very high because with the right skin tone, this works very well, and doesn't create a cakelike appearance If you have fair skin, I'd go with Holika Holika Petit BB cream. They have a few kinds, and I like the clearing "formula" for winter, when I'm the palest.

So I used this product when I was in college ~10 years ago. It was cheap and effective and I didn't know any better. When I got a little older, I figured "Why am I still using Garnier, a cheap Walmart brand? I should upgrade to the GOOD stuff!" So I went to Sephora, Ulta, and a few online beauty boutiques. All their reps laughed in sympathy "Oh girl, you're using GARNIER on your face?? Come let me hook you up with BETTER brands!" So I started spending $40-$50 apiece for foundations, BB creams, CC creams, you name it. Sure I liked some, and even still have a couple, but it took me 10 years to realize that none of them came close to providing all the benefits this Garnier BB cream gives. I had separate products for foundation, for SPF, and a finishing powder to mattify and control oil. I regret all the money I spent trying other bougie brands when, just like the cheesy rom-coms, my true love was here all along. The ONLY con to this product: It's still pretty dark for a "Light-Medium" color. I really hope they introduce a "Fair-Light" option in this Oil-Control, Matte Finish formula for us pale chicks. I have to go back to my $45 IT CC cream during the winter months because of this.

I have really appreciated this foundation/sunscreen. This is one of my forays into trying makeup while also using a moisturizer (as I struggle with having an oily nose and dry forehead, cheeks, upper lip, and chin after washing my face). I also have freckles of varying sizes and solidity of color, and burn easily because in-between the freckles I am pale. I also sweat easily, so this water proof/sweat proof formula is amazing. And I have had allergic reactions (rash) to certain sunscreens (such as the Banana Boat brand), so I was also pleased that this BB formula didn't disturb my skin in a negative way at all. Onto the product review: this BB Garnier formula is awesome. I have tried it for multiple days now and I like how long it lasts, how it doesn't rub off throughout the day. There is a light tint to the mix, so if you apply it heavily, it will be noticed if you do not apply it evenly. I use very little of it, a small dab goes a long way. And now my nose appears less shiny even after two hours of wearing it. If you are new to makeup use, I suggest giving this a try. It smooths out the skin tone and still allows the freckles to be seen.

I've been using this product for years. This one bottle will last you forever since the viscosity of the foundation allows for a very large spread. This foundation is light and doesn't feel caked onto your skin. It also doesn't flake, slide, or smell like other products I've used. I especially like this foundation because I have oily skin and this product doesn't transfer to my fingers when I touch my face and leave beige fingerprints all over my white paper like previous foundations tended to do. I find that this product isn't great at covering large spot acne even when applying multiple layers. I usually use a concealer along with the foundation in order to keep that lightweight feel. I have watched YouTube videos of people applying this foundation both with a stipling brush and dotting it on or a foundation brush and swirling it in. I find stipling gives better coverage but takes up too much time in the morning that I just don't have. In terms of the BB cream, I have not found my skin to be brighter, more even, or clear of acne after using this foundation.

This used to be my favorite BB cream and they took it out of stores. It always covered well and matched my skin tone. I found this and purchased on Amazon. It was unusually runny and didn't cover well. Not sure if the product has changed or if this one is faulty.
